The White House is working to put advanced anti-ship missiles in the hands of Ukrainian fighters to help defeat Russia's naval blockade, officials said, amid concerns more powerful weapons that could sink Russian warships would intensify the conflict.
Ukraine has made no secret it wants more advanced U.S. capabilities beyond its current inventory of artillery, Javelin and Stinger missiles, and other arms. Kyiv's list, for example, includes missiles that could push the Russian navy away from its Black Sea ports, allowing the restart of shipments of grain and other agricultural products worldwide.

I haven’t seen you complain about the previous $13 billion to Zelenskyy, and all you do is cheer on this war, so yes, you support it if by only your acquiesce.
“Sounds like an act of war on our part if they use one.”
I expect the Russians will keep their ships in port after this. If they venture out to attack Ukraine and die in doing so then that’s their misfortune.
“I was posting on a forum that had a member of the Polish military. He said the US had been training people there for months in preparation for this coup.”
So, some stranger on an internet forum told you that, and you just automatically believed him (or her)? You have no idea who that person was (if in fact the post ever even happened). Maybe it was customer service Peggy from the Discover Card commercials.
No, I’ve read accounts of what really went down from several non msm sources as well.
I think I will ignore you from now on. Such a dolt, you are.
Good move.
“No, I’ve read accounts of what really went down from several non msm sources as well.”
We all — well, most of us, anyway — read reports and accounts of what’s going on. But most of us are discerning enough not to take them at face value, but consider the sources and seek corroboration, and use common sense.
The US could not win the political conflict in Iraq. The war that was the Russian sort of war in Ukraine, with tanks and artillery barrages and SAM systems and defense lines, was won handily.
If the US were, God forbid, to try occupy Russia then you can cite Iraq that way.
“I think I will ignore you from now on. Such a dolt, you are.”
The guy is a provocateur. When you ask him something he doesn’t want to answer, or you call him out on something, he gets the vapors and tells you to “Shut up!” and takes his ball and goes home. Ignore him.
My point is irrelevant as to who is winning or losing. Its that one can SEE how the Russians are deploying and using their artillery. And from these videos its easy to tell that the USAF would find it easy to attack the Russian artillery and their logistics.
But we are going to win the political conflict on Russia's boarder? You are both insane and clueless.
“If the US were, God forbid, to try occupy Russia then you can cite Iraq that way.”
No one with even half a brain cell should ever want to occupy Russia in its entirety. Though don’t be surprised if China makes a move into Russia’s Far East Federal District.
“But we are going to win the political conflict on Russia’s boarder?”
Is he in the basement? The attic?
The US is helping defend a sovereign state. Before this began there was nothing in the way of a guerilla war in Ukrainian territory, and if Ukraine gets its land back I dont see why there should be one.
Anyway, the US should stay out of counterinsurgency and leave it to the locals. As it did in Korea, which actually had a considerable communist insurgency throughout the Korean war.
“Russia is no more America’s enemy...”
They are only “not our enemy” to the extent that they can no longer feasibly compete with us on equal footing on the world stage. Yet they still engage in a deliberate “war” against us in every sphere in which they can achieve some assymetric advantage, which reveals their true belligerent intentions. They also still aid and ally with any country that is our enemy, and take every opportunity to reestablish their empire so that they can oppose us directly once again. I doubt there’s anything you have to say to me that will convince me otherwise.
To think that “Russia is no longer our enemy” would be as foolish as a Frenchman in 1920 thinking “Germany is no longer our enemy”.
Yanukovych was a crook. I walked through his house in Kyiv. He had his own small zoo with African antelope that he would get one glass of milk from each day. He owned a piano signed by John Lennon. He had a heated outdoor trout pond.
The house was going to be set up as a monument to document the level of corruption by Yanukovych, but Ukraine’s government couldn’t afford it.
Calling his removal a coup is silly and malicious.
The pic in #3 really set some people off here. There’s a good chance then those offended are LGBTQ+.
Regardless, numerous woketards are represented in that pic and yet they attacj over it.
How did woketards end up here at FR and why are they still here?
I’ve taken Putin and Zelenkyy both to task over things I didn’t agree with, but something is wrong when Biden does something, I go after Biden on it, and the usual suspects here attack me. I go after Soros, Klaus, etc, and I get attacked by the usual suspects.
Are these people here doing that Democrats? Whom can be notified about this?
OK. You have placed your bet. We will see how this works out for you.
