If any of the January 6 Commission’s hearings are again scheduled to take place in prime time, it’s entirely possible that the networks will take a “hard pass” next time:

CNN and MSNBC were up because that’s basically the 1/6 Commission’s base, and no doubt they’ll be hoping for another hearing in prime time, but the networks certainly won’t.
The Left criticized Fox News for not airing the hearing (it was broadcast on Fox Business) but they did discuss what was going on during their regular programming.

I mentioned to my wife last week that 20 million watched Stormy Daniels piece on 60 minutes and that would be the high end of total viewership. We are talking folks addicted to Trump hate.
So, 80 million people voted for Sleepy Joe and yet only 1 out of 8 watched to see how the evil Orangeman tried to steal it from him.

The premise of the "Threat to democracy" is weak but the glitz and publicity of the one sided point of view is the visual people will remember and talk about 20 years from now.
To an unbiased observer this kangaroo court presentation is just as threatening to our republic. It is a banana republic tactic that is destined to backfire, like the second impeachment trial.
True if the Rangers are going on to get chewed up by the Aves, they are going to have to win one in Florida. Which the Lightning did in their barn. Great game, I’m pretty torn up about missing the hearing. I can’t find my priority list. I think the dog ate it.
