Trump endorses Britt in Alabama Senate runoff months after dumping Brooks

Trump is not a life long politician. He relies on advisors to hire people. And Trump was never a pure as wind driven snow conservative.

Main reason I admire Trump is his getting us out of foreign wars with national debt bigger than our GDP. And his imposing tariffs on Chinese goods which no other republican ever did or will do.

Mo Brooks is unelectable same as Roy Moore, Tod Akin and Mourdock, in statewide election.
Reagan taught us to vote for the most electable.
Coz losers in elections have zero power to enact any conservative agenda.

This is a foolish move on a couple levels. If Trump wants to pushback against McConnell, which he obviously does, this is counterproductive. It's also not a good look to abandon a rock-solid ally because on one occasion he mentioned it would be smart to move on from 2020 and focus on 2024.

Not to mention that Brooks was right.

Comparing Mo Brooks to Roy Moore is absurd. The only way that Brooks loses in the general is if Republicans like Britt and Shelby campaign against him like they did Moore.

Brooks apparently was okay with the election being stolen and thus he does not deserve Trump's support or the support of any patriot.

It would be one thing if there were actions underway related to all the talk about 2020 fraud. But at this point, it's just talk. The AZ Cyber Audit is long forgotten. Lindell's cyber symposium was a joke. The GA election workers Trump talked about, and who Kanye went after, have since been paid off and received a retraction from OAN. The latest flavor of the month hasn't revealed a single mule or non-profit payment trail.

Like I said - if all the fraud talk was leading to actionable measures, it would be one thing. But if it's all just talk, what purpose does it serve other than to depress turnout? Why not focus on 2024 in which you have the weakest incumbent in our lifetimes, out of control inflation and a war involving Russia playing out.

Makes no sense to me. Remember how Trump said 5M illegal votes happened in 2016? Where did that go?

Brooks is the Roy Moore candidate.

That's ridiculous. Even Moore admitted to dating teenagers when he was in his thirties. Brooks has nothing in his background like that.

I didn't vote for Oz. We had better candidates that Oz and McCormick in PA. I didn't vote for him either. Establishment RINOs got behind McCormick and Trump got behind Oz. Both bad decisions. Doesn't AL have a better choice, or is this going to continue to happen?

I don't believe a word that comes out of Brooks mouth. I saw him when he was an election fraud denier and booed at a Trump rally. The guy is completely out of touch with MAGA. I don't know much about the spawn of Shelby. You would think someone new, fresh and without baggage can be found and supported.

I would say his voting record is as conservative as anyone would want, especially on fiscal matters. But he is being condemned for one sound bite.

Actually I loved the southern border of Washington state where we spent 12 great years. There was no state income tax in WA state, and right across the Columbia river from us was Portland, OR and there was no sales tax in Oregon. Also it rained a lot LESS in Vancouver, WA than Seattle area. I played lots of golf year round at Royal Oaks country club in Vancouver WA. But eventually the warm and sunny Florida weather beckoned me and also it is so much easier to board a cruise ship from my house on Atlantic Ocean side. Done 45 cruises so far and wish to do 45 more before kicking the bucket.

Oh all my 37 working years were spent in hell hole Illinois. That was a real hell hole. High taxes all around, and extreme cold in winters in Chicago and hot and muggy in summers.
