Every single so-called republican RINO that voted for this nasty bill should be vilified at every chance. Never let them forget they are all Benedict Arnold now.

That list is old and not up to date. bbc.com requires their articles be excerpted when posted on FR.

They keep moving in the wrong direction with Trump in the White House without Trump in the White House etc. etc. we are distracted with emotional shows like the one that led to 15 Republicans wiping their hineys with the US Constitution.

Then why do the moderators often change sources not on that list to an excerpt?

Precisely what Nelson “Pete” Shields, founder of Handgun Control Inc (HCI, now the Brady Center) called for in 1976. Gun control one little slice at a time till they have the whole loaf and make handguns TOTALLY ILLEGAL. Later HCI went after rifles.

Nelson T. ‘Pete’ Shields
Founder of Handgun Control, Inc.

“I’m convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest.

Of course, it’s true that politicians will then go home and say, ‘This is a great law. The problem is solved.’ And it’s also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.

So then we’ll have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again. Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time.

My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — TOTALLY ILLEGAL.”

-Pete Shields, Chairman and founder, Handgun Control Inc., “A Reporter At Large: Handguns,” The New Yorker, July 26, 1976, 57-58

*****

And remember people, if they get this passed, they will begin working on a newer tougher gun law package for the next few years. They will never give up till they have them all.

Yes, but with more substance than the gunner ever musters out of his beer cans.

Every one of those gave Jim a nastygram.

I do agree a number of sites allow full posting, but a number say you cannot. We should not post them if the terms on those very sites say they must be excerpted or get permission. The excerpt limit protects Jim against most of those, thankfully.

So abiding by the 300 word limit is best on questionable sites that haven't sent a lawyer after Jim.

Why the BBC can't be 300 words is a head scratcher.

My Senator, Arlen Oz Toomey, never ran for office saying he would pass gun control. In fact, he passed himself off as a tea party candidate. It’s clear he has gone complete Democrat-Socalist. He doesn’t represent the people of Pennsylvania. He doesn’t represent the people who voted for him. He has known for a long time that he didn’t have any chance of being re-elected, hence he is leaving office this year. I hope he enjoys a private life because if he ever speaks in public again it won’t be pretty.

This might be the bill:

I’m on my cell phone, which has a tiny screen unfit for serious research.

The Bill DOES NOT protect children in school.

All it does is placate the self righteour leftists who do not think The People have a right to defend themsleves using arms. This is mainly because they know The People are against these elites and they suspect a confrontation is coming.

These idiots are do nothngs. They exist in another world from the one occuppied by ordinary Americans. They are disconnected and therefore you see this foolishness.
