I’m confused. Is this a flip? Better yet, where are the current totals and what is going on? It’s never been this quiet in the media regarding returns other than to say, this can last weeks.
This was expected. It’s also expected that we take the open CD-6 seat and Schweikert holds CD-1. Those 2 things *should* happen, which would make us +2 in the House in Arizona and contribute towards offsetting disgusting losses in CO-3 and maybe WA-3 or NM-2.
If my name was Eli Crane, I would have legally changed it to “Ichabod” a long time ago. :-P

That makes him my Rep and I couldn’t be happier. Haven’t been represented since JD Hayworth — that’s been maybe 25 years. Since then it’s been all feckless libs.
This was an expected flip.
Redistricting put Yavapai County into O’Halleran’s district which made a previous R+1 district to R+6.
There is no way the Prescott area R+27 would have allowed a Democratic to represent them.
After redistricting, this district (which was already pretty heavy Republican) got a lot more heavy Republican. O’Halleran had no chance!
Basically, they redistricted O’Halleran from his district!
