These videos were recorded on the evening of January 7, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee. Video 1 is a police-issued body-worn camera near the intersection of Raines and Ross Rd. Videos 2, 3, and 4 are video footage at the second location, a residential neighborhood. Video 2 is from a pole camera and contains no audio. Videos 3 and 4 are police-issued body-worn camera videos. Funny how no riots are taking place and it’s only bc cops weren’t white. This was probably far worse than floyd. I’m not gonna watch video so I’m speculating based on others comments
They were knocking him around pretty good before he fell before the curb stomp at the 2nd location. It was brutal and hard to watch.
And all I’m hearing from the different protests? $$$$$$$
They don’t give a d@mn about the victim. They all got the same astroturfed signs and slogans memo.
Going forward, this doesn’t bode well for blacks cooperating with police in traffic stops.
They will let them plea to kidnapping?

Seriously, first thing they do is drag him out of the car? Why? What reason did they do that?
He is on the ground asking why? He is trying to make eye contact, not resist. He is confused by the aggressive nature of these cops. Listen to the initial dialogue. He wants to know what he has done to be treated that way. And then they taser him for ‘not complying?’
A cop roughs me up for a traffic stop, I want to know why too. Normal reaction. We need to stop confusing normal reactions with resisting.
I’d certainly not release even mugshots or records unless there’s a conviction. Any deferred or dropped case should be automatically expunged.
But nope, you have to pay out the ass even without a conviction. This country’s “legal system” is rightfully hated by nearly anyone not directly paid off by it.

They weren’t doing traffic. They were an anti-crime squad. Apparently they were working the stolen-car angle, and Mr. Nichols came by doing 20 over which I guess is a good indication that the car might be stolen.
Run over ones who block the road.
Suicide by cop or a bad beating can easily earn your survivors a multi-million settlement.

This is brutal, it made me cry. I generally fall to the side of the police but this was so bad. That guy calling for mom tore me up.

Well they guessed wrong and beat a man to death over a traffic ticket.
I’ve never seen a traffic stop executed in that way.
Yes. Plea guilty to the kidnapping charge in exchange for dropping the murder charge. It will never see trial. The civil suits will be against the city. Face it. That’s the real interest.
