FBI whistleblower raises fresh concerns about bank record mining, undercover agents in J6 probe

A recently retired FBI supervisory intelligence analyst told Congress in a whistleblower disclosure that agents in Boston were improperly pressured by Washington to open criminal cases on 140 people who had simply taken a bus ride to the Jan. 6 rally in Washington. The agents refused because there was no evidence the attendees engaged in any criminality, the whistleblower said.

George Hill's testimony to the House Judiciary Committee also raised new civil liberty concerns about the FBI's Jan. 6 probe, including whether the Bureau mined Americans' bank records without court authority and whether the agency possesses video footage it is refusing to release because it identifies undercover agents and human sources who were at the U.S. Capitol that fateful day.

Hill, a military veteran and longtime analyst for the National Security Agency (NSA) and FBI who retired last year from the Bureau's Boston field office, told Just the News on Wednesday night that he disclosed concerns earlier this week to the House Judiciary Committee during a transcribed deposition, including that the Bureau analyzed banking data without evidence of a crime -- simply to find Americans who traveled to Washington around the time of Jan. 6 or who owned a gun.

Hill said supervisors in the Washington field office pressured to open cases, first on seven individuals who came up in a sweep of bank records provided by Bank of America, and then on the larger group of 140 Americans who paid to take bus rides to President Donald Trump's now infamous rally on Jan. 6, 2021, the day a mob overran police lines and flooded into the Capitol as Congress met to certify the 2020 election results. He credited his supervisors in Boston for resisting the pressure.

Geeze...I seriously considered going to DC on January 6th and if I had I probably would have taken a bus (out of Boston). Kinda spooky knowing that the FBI might have been watching me if I had.

Victor Davis Hanson, the USA.s foremost historian is correct in saying that the FBI is a Gwstapo/Stasi that needs to dismantled.

Congress needs to defund the FBI abd break it up into a thousand pieces reassigned to other agencies.

The US Marshals need to expand to take the FBI’s place with direct oversight reporting to Congress.

Me as well. My wife and I were going to go.

Something told me not to do it. Spidey sense.

The FBI must be defunded and eliminated. I don’t care if as a result bank robbers have it easy. Hell most bankin is online and walk-in banks are closing...

It makes you wonder if they are not watching all of us, all of the time. Maybe that is why they need a HQ twice the size of the Pentagon. They are at war, WITH US!

They’re currently slated to have a new HQ in the DC suburbs with a footprint larger than the Pentagon. Maybe they plan on having a bronze statue of Christopher Wray in front.

biden has turned the fbi into a kgb, and in the process destroyed the entire concept of freedom and liberty. He has made the USA a police state where no one has any rights. He deserves to be brought to justice for that along with those top fbi managers who willingly obeyed their fuhrer.

I agree with VDH and others on this. The FBI has tried to change its role to be more like the CIA and NSA.

Personally, I cannot even watch anything anymore that portrays the FBI in a positive light.

At the very least, the head has to be taken off, oversight has to be made meaningful, and rigorous enforcement of illegality has to occur.

And this business of using things like the 302 form, compiled by two agents, whose accounts that are recorded are treated as a transcript (instead of a recording) is absurd.

The FBI is most likely monitoring this and other sites and have already accessed the back accounts and email accounts of everyone. They can’t stop bank robberies, but they can spy on law abiding Americans and terrorize them.

Yes,it's now plainly obvious that there are enough Rat Party operatives at the FBI...NSA...CIA...DOJ to assume that everyone on FR is being watched. Thankfully FR is,by far,the most exciting and subversive part of my otherwise boring and sedate life. ;-)

And to any FBI types who might read this post I say...even *you* don't know how many passports I have and, with those passports,I can disappear in a heartbeat!

None of the state fascism we see today could be happening without judicial support and activism. The Nuremberg Trials proved that. Soros and the globalists learned that lesson and are exploiting that.

The FBI/CIA has become far too powerful and it needs to be controlled

When is Ray Epps, Pelosi’s front man, going to be indicted? His video of him and several other vocalists with Bull Horns, encouraging protesters to storm the Capitol is a key source of evidence.

“Geeze...I seriously considered going to DC on January 6th...”

Mrs. BBB333 REALLY WANTED to go.

REALLY wanted to go...

We discussed it and decided against it as she had vital surgery (unscheduled at the time) on 3/30/2021.

If she had been detained even a few months she would have died.
