Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) said former President Trump’s rhetoric regarding his possible indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is “more overt and blatant” than his language leading up to Jan. 6.
“Well, I think it’s a concern, the rhetoric that he’s using today is not dissimilar to the type of rhetoric he used prior to January 6. In fact, in some ways, it’s more overt and blatant than the events leading up to January 6,” Lofgren told CNN’s Jim Acosta on Sunday.
Lofgren, who served on the Jan. 6 House select committee, noted that Trump posted a photo of himself holding a baseball bat next to Bragg as an example of the violent rhetoric. Trump also predicted “potential death & destruction” if he is indicted.
“This is cause for concern,” Lofgren said. “We know that certainly not all of his followers are inclined to take up arms, but there’s enough of them who are willing to do battle in his behalf that someone could get killed. And people were killed, obviously, on January 6.”

Exactly right. It’s ok for Bragg to try his case in the court of public opinion. And Trump was supposed to save then the trouble of a trial and just report to prison without a peep of objection.

Everything is larger than life and he repeatedly accomplished what they have labelled as impossible. From the nomination to she was 93% to win and on and on he did what they said would never take place.

Old Zoe doesn’t get it that Trump’s rhetoric isn’t inciting the people, it is reflecting their mood. Hope that Trump can somehow restore justice, freedom, prosperity, and normality to their country is what STOPS millions of people from dragging the entire Leftist freak show to the guillotine. Taking away their dwindling hope by persecuting Trump would likely have ugly results, and Zoe is too stupid to know that he is giving her ilk a heads up.
If the Left had any sense, they would take a respite from their march to totalitarianism, reverse course for a bit, make some gestures towards restoring law and order, controlling the border, etc., for long enough to let Trump age out and his folks get suckered into believing they aren’t fighting for their existence.
