Was the staff stalking and molesting the child guests?

Iger wants to express how badly DeSantis hurt Disney, and closing the Star Wars hotel is his first shot. It’s a phony outrage and a phony business move. The hotel will be return as a regular hotel or some other theme hotel, but only after the lawsuit/dispute against Florida/DeSantis is resolved.

I am a huge star wars fan, and comfortable financially, but I wouldn’t have stayed in that place for 1/10 of the price they were charging.

So does this mean that Disney will be housing migrants in what's left? Rename it “Mos Eisley”, for example.

$5,000

From what I read, two nights is still less than one Taylor Swift concert ticket.

Did they try reducing the prices by 80%?

Poor business planning was the cause of its demise. It was actually an interesting concept and not too badly executed as an immersive experience. But, the pricing model made it more expensive than a cruise on one of their ships. If they had priced it in the category of a higher end hotel on their property it would have been perpetually sold out. The market for it ended up being extremely wealthy Star Wars fanatics. Once that limited target group had all had a stay at the hotel then there was no more market left to serve.

As to the cancellation of the Lake Nona Disney office park, the push back from the Imagineers was immediate after it was initially announced. Many of them quit rather than relocate their family across the country. Disney immediately pulled back and then used COVID as the blame for the delay on the project. Now they are blaming DeSantis but that is just a convenient excuse. They had been looking at a way to backtrack from this decision long before the feud.

Disney executives are showing that they not only have lacked an understanding of their market, but even their employees.

Were most of the their guests rich foreigners from China, Japan and Saudi Arabia, people after the “American” experience? Or maybe the unmarried wealthy of Silicon Valley type places.

costs around $5,000 for a two-night stay.

Only drug dealers, crooked lawyers, and members of the Biden Crime Family can afford to stay there.

Of course, now there is hotel space in Florida to house illegals. DeSantis would not have to bus them all the way to New York, just drop them at the Disney World gay-te with directions to the hotel.

The move, which Iger attributes to “changing business conditions” in an internal memo, is likely a result of Disney’s feud with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The failure is without doubt the result of Disney's having intercoursed up the Star Wars franchise, with years of leftist stooges' various boycotts of Florida into the mix.

When is Disney going to pony up and start recalling all of their Caucasian “Little Mermaid” dolls? There are a hell of a lot of sad little Caucasian girls out there who are heartbroken because the Little Mermaid is now black like Alexander Hamilton and Cleopatra. Disney is a bunch of bullies.

The inside poop is that it was overbooked by foreign nationals, and Disney cast members lacked linguists and culture reps up to the challenge.

How many rooms in that hotel? If it is a custom experience with only a few rooms that makes sense but if it’s more than that then lower the rent and rent it to recover their costs

Disney’s stock price is down close to 2% today. It’s currently trading at $91.86 per share.

Thirty months ago, Disney traded at approximately $180.00 per share. It’s done nothing but fall since then. It’s 52-week low is $84.07 and it may soon return to those levels. The company has made bad decisions time after time and is losing more of its subscribers each month. Most people do not want the product that Disney is currently selling.
