Both Trump and DeSantis tied for first place with 41 percent support each in their home state. No other potential candidate came close. Pence fell 38 percent points behind with three percent support. Christie, Ramaswamy, and Haley came one point behind with two percent support, and zero percent supported Elder, Hutchinson, and Scott.
Overall, eight percent of Florida GOP voters are “not sure” who they would support.
Notably, 71 percent chose DeSantis as their first-choice candidate, compared to 57 percent who said the same of Trump. When asked who would be their second-choice candidate, 30 percent said DeSantis, followed by 16 percent who said Trump, 13 percent who said Scott, 11 percent who said Pence, and ten percent who said Ramaswamy.

This is a total lie. It’s bogus. Trump is way ahead as of yesterday. This is desperation on DeSantis Teams part and anti-Trump Breitbart.
Never heard of Breakthrough Research. Ron Sachs on the otherhand was Lawton Chiles’ spokesperson. Rob has to rely on no-name media firms affiliated with Democrats just to tie Trump in a poll in his home state.
True, not sure if this poll is accurate but l would not be surprised to them tied in DeSantis’s home state
People in FL should want to keep DeSantis as governor: he is not yet ready for the presidency.

DeSantis was re-elected with 59%. Why is it so hard to believe that he is so competitive in the state he runs well which has people flocking to it from all over the country? Liked Trump’s speech last night. But DeSantis has a shot. Message of Trump policies without his drama has a chance. Contests are state races. National polls are of limited value.
