If the article is accurate, this is a huge strike against DeSantis. I suppose someone somewhere could come up with a reason why this law is a good law.

No matter. This law restricts a consumer’s freedom to choose. And the key word there is “freedom”.

What does DeSantis know about business? Let me look that up. Yep. Never had a job in the private sector. He knows NOTHING. He shouldn’t be picking winners and losers. He should be trying to get government out of the way of individuals and businesses. This kind of crap doesn’t win my vote.

The problem is, even Tesla thinks that they can overcharge because "it's Florida". That money is not being passed onto the consumer. In a much tighter market, ie, north of Florida, where in many places Tesla is still a novelty, you can get a last-year Plaid new as a 'kicker', at Model S prices.

There is no place in Florida that will do that. Even outposts like Lake City, Merritt Island, Pensacola (nice store) -- not happening.
