Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden and Green Party presidential candidate Cornell West in a hypothetical three-way race for the White House, according to a national Emerson College poll.
The poll also gauged the Republican presidential primary, finding that Trump maintains a colossal advantage with 56 percent support. Former Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) support has dropped off 11 points since June 20, when he registered at 21 percent. While he looks to stop the hemorrhaging, he finds himself tied with the surging 37-year-old entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy at ten percent. Ramaswamy is up eight points since June.
Kimball noted DeSantis supporters are defecting to Ramaswamy

Hence the escalating full force of the entire US govt, against one man (and by proxy, the citizenry of the USA)
I agree with you on the debates. The “also running” are a side-show. I don’t say that out of disrespect but as a simple truth. Trump is the show. I expect the debate views to be very low. Trump’s views will be like they always are. Strong.
You care not about anyone’s potential beyond the 2024 election cycle. That means you really don’t care about our country. Ramaswamy will not win in ‘24, but at a minimum he presents excellent ideas that Trump can use when in office. You really should open your mind and listen to what Ramaswamy talks about. I know you haven’t because you are unable to articulate his policies with even a modicum of detail in a reply to this post. I’m waiting until you reply with those details. Anything short of that will make you look like a bigger ass than you already are.
I completely agree. Why he didn't do this mystifies me.
I’m for President Trump, and only him. Rma swampy made money off of vaccines, he favors trans in the military, he is just anotglobalist plant. As fo4 the future, I like Byron Donalds, a true, America First Canidate
. Do your research on the phony Rama swampy.
Sounds like you’re describing yourself. Whatever. I do suggest that you stop insulting people on the FR as all you do is show your own ignorance and inability to carry out a substantive conversation.
Can’t handle a real discussion? All you can do is throw out insults? Whatever
Vivek isn’t running for president. He is running to put himself on the map, and to reframe the debate, which he has done.
Trump is still the only candidate for 2024. Vivek is young and will be around for awhile. DeSantis was in that position, but he threw it away by attacking Trump unnecessarily. He didn’t realize that his base is Trump’s base. Attacking Trump he alienated his own base.
Viek will NEVER be President, and should not be. Byron Donalds has been loyal to President Trump and will likely run for Govenor in 26, setting him up. DeSantis’s loss is his gain.
He has made no secret of the fact he was a die hard libertarian before he became a conservative and he’s also explained why he changed. It’s in his interview with John Stossel.
Probably not.
What was Trump’s track record in government before 2017? None, nada, zero. That was a good thing. Trump is an accomplished businessman. He’s an outsider and there is no doubt that he remains an outsider to the administrative state and the political establishment. That’s exactly where I want him and it’s exactly why I am voting for him. In short, Trump is an outsider that builds stuff of grand visions.
Vivek shares these things in common with Trump. Vivek is an extraordinarily accomplished businessman. He builds things. He also had a very strong grasp of his own principles and where they are derived. Plus he is able to communicate them. Those principles are what made him a successful. Vivek is an outsider in the same way Trump is. He will remain so because he regularly speaks of how he will dismantle government. He is or will be loathe at least as much as Trump by DC. That tells me that he’s over the target. The only positive coverage that Ramaswamy will get from the mainstream media is because he’s not Trump. But the moment Trump is out of the equation, whether that’s in 2028 or sooner, the mainstream media will turn on Ramaswamy.
It is a rather well thought out request of you, in your best interest, based on the evidence presented, what is actually best for you, and placed at the level which you operate, and nuanced just so with the right amount of English for maximum clarity, so you can understand.
You see, I do value your opinion on worldly matters, as you are so eloquent and knowledgeable in your presentation of facts, and clear thinking even when all others are struck dumbfounded with the sheer gravity of the incomprehensible undercurrents ravaging our very foundation.
Thus my advice to you was with all the sincerity I could muster after running through all the possible responses, ala the first terminator at the hotel.
+1
FR doesn’t have a mute feature but I have mentally tuned out a few. CowPieUsa is one.
If you would study Rama swampy record, you would see him for the gl0balist he is. Only Trump stands against them, with Byron Donalds waiting in the wings.
That’s exactly correct. I think that one thing that people fail to recognize is that everyone running for the GOP nomination needs to present himself as a serious contender regardless of the reality. Vivek might have a future in 2028 or sooner as part of Trump’s administration. I don’t even see him as a contender for VP. I have someone else in mind and he’s not currently running for office, but he’s close to Trump, he knows Washington and Washington hates his guts.
You are shallow and an embarrassment to yourself.
The best outcome from all of this would be a Trump victory in 2024. A very close second would be the total collapse of the republican party brought on by their refusal/inability to protect Trump and by extension, their own voters. If Trump is neutralized it would represent the final and ultimate betrayal by a party that has done nothing but betray their voters for decades and it would kill the party.
Washington should’ve played ball with Trump. His asks were very reasonable and doable. He was willing to compromise on a great many things. Instead, they stonewalled him and tried to force him from office. They fuked up.
I can think of several reasons why I wouldn’t participate if I was Trump:
1) Only 1% in polling required? Yes, there are some other criteria as well….but 1%? That’s Kamala level numbers and not worth of any attention.
2) Why participate in a circular firing squad when all guns are pointed at you? Being on the stage only lends some gravitas to the other participants, and does little to increase Trump’s.
3) Not a trained dog, and doesn’t just bark because when someone says to. Especially when the group setting up the event is just as against you as the opposing party. Trump will likely get more viewers from his interview with Tucker.
4) The requirement to support the ultimate nominee.
