North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has set off for Russia aboard a special train, a South Korean source said, as Pyongyang and Moscow on Monday (Sep 11) confirmed a summit with President Vladimir Putin amid Russia's deepening isolation over the war in Ukraine.
Kim will visit Russia in the coming days at the invitation of Putin, the Kremlin said, while North Korean state news agency KCNA said the two would "meet and have a talk", without elaborating.
US officials have said the pair would discuss possible arms deals to aid Russia's war in Ukraine and provide North Korea with a much-needed economic and political lifeline.

Vladivostok is maybe 80 miles by rail from the North Korean border. Not a long train ride.
Meh...they’re meeting in Vladivostok about 100 miles from the North Korean border.
Do the putin fans also admire Kim Un?
Lil’ Kim is afraid to meet in Moscow. He has seen the drone attacks there and knows his train and the tracks are easy targets.
Russia isn’t isolated
it’s still friends with all the scumbag countries - North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Syria, etc.
Well, perhaps...Putin is going to the likes of North Korea (and Iran) after all for help. Things can’t be all a bed of roses with that happening.
Some of them do - as well as the CCP. When a story was posted by one of them about North Korea possibly sending troops to Ukraine to help Russia, they were giddy with excitement even posting gifs. Another one on a thread was calling for the CCP to take over Taiwan in order to “take out the US biolabs” supposedly there.
Why does our opinion matter?
Ukraine is winning. They are destroying Russia, per the propagandists here who post their drivel here daily.
If Ukraine is winning, then it doesn't matter what Russia does. Of course they're going to seek help, they're LOSING.

Lol, when I was stationed in Seoul, it was not uncommon to see Vladivostok women who had flown there on shopping junkets. Some of them looked pretty rough despite layers of makeup. They reminded me of Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep at the end of, “Death Becomes Her.”
That's what a country does when they're losing. they seek outside help.
