Angry progressive activists screeched and wailed at lawmakers during a Seattle City Council meeting in protest at a vote to recriminalize drug abuse in the crime-ridden city.
In video taken at the meeting, proponents of the city's laissez-faire laws shared their anger over the 6-3 vote which they call the 'War on Drugs 2.0.'
'You have blood on your hands,' crowd members can be heard shouting at the council members following the vote in a video posted by journalist Jon Choe.

Actually, what blood would be shed by drug users being arrested?
Seattle takes one small step to get out of the mess the progressives put it in, and the progressives yell and scream.
is that not an insurrection?
Whats that no arrests and unconstitutional detentions?
It make you wonder how much improvement Seattle could make if the politicians would decide to just ignore the worst of the yapping progressive activists for two or three years. But they won’t.
Too bad.
Not much.
I am so sick of these people and the politicians that coddle them. As time moves forward and the more I see of these people, the more I become of the opinion that Vlad Tepes was a very reasonable and measured man.
Follow the money. Those screaming the loudest are probably the ones making money by selling the dope in the neighborhoods.
Insurrection?
sounds like an insurrection to me, give them all 20 years and hit them with RICO charges also!
so unless they can shoot dope and smoke crack in public, they’re oppressed...
Eff them. I work in this hellhole. It’s about goddamned time they recriminalized drugs.

I sat on a board for a few years following Roberts Rules of Order. One member had very little patience for emotional blather. I loved it when he would say to the speaker “We’ll put you down as a NO vote. I call the question.”
In this case , I would be inclined to add “Oh, you don’t have a vote. So sad.”
