Iranian opposition activist: 'People of Iran are waiting for Israel to strike the regime'
Arutz Sheva ^ | 4/1/24 | Yoni Kempinski

Posted on 01/04/2024 4:25:34 AM PST by Eleutheria5

Iranian opposition activist Vahid Beheshti visited Israel this week, where he was the first-ever member of the Iranian opposition to address the Knesset at a meeting of the Knesset Israel Victory Caucus (KIVC).

Beheshti is a human rights activist who fights the Iranian regime. For nearly 11 months, he camped outside the UK Foreign Office, even hunger striking for part of the time, demanding the UK classify the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

In a conversation with Arutz Sheva-Israel National News, Beheshti explains that the current war with Hamas is all about Iran, and that is what brought him to speak in the Knesset. "Iran is the head of the octopus....the Iranian regime is the root of the problem."

He adds: "Of course, it's all about Iran. And today, we have to stop ignoring this big elephant in the room if we need global peace and peace in the region."

Beheshti says that Israel should not be afraid to strike IRGC targets, nuclear sites, and even the homes of high-ranking Iranian Republic officials in Iran. "This is what they need to see. This is great support for the Iranian people. Let's not forget that we have a great military of 18 million Iranians who are thirsty for democracy and freedom in Iran, and the moment they see support from Israel and Western countries, they will do the job for us. They will go onto the street and hit the head of the octopus in Tehran for us. The Iranian people have been very active, especially since 2009. They had many uprisings, but because of the level of brutality and the barbarism of the evil regime, they haven't been successful so far. They need a little support, and they will do the job for us."

Israel can't strike at Iran without either an airstrip within striking distance, or an aircraft or helicopter carrier. We can provide training and covert aid, and lots of sabotage. But airstrikes are not doable in the present situation.

I personally believe this is the next prophecy to take place. They could use a nuke to take out Elam.

Saudi Arabia could provide the airstrip. The US is unreliable and should not even be told or any strike.

If they are waiting on someone else they don’t deserve freedom.

This is a hazy memory, but haven’t some concluded from scripture that Russia will be pulled into this conflict based on a treaty with Iran?

KSA wouldn’t dare. They’ve got plenty of Wahhabists who would use that as a pretext. At most, they’ll tacitly allow use of their airspace to shorten the trip, and publicly pretend to be outraged. That’s life in the ME.

The US would not have won the Revolution without France.

Why should Israel do for you that which you are unwilling to do for yourself?

They have tanker aircraft.

They won’t attack Iran directly because it would start WWIII. I am pretty sure the West has drawn that line pretty thick.

As the article mentions, they have had multiple uprisings, all brutally put down by the regime. They are not the only ones. In the 17th Century, the Ukrainians repeatedly had uprisings against the Polish overlords, and each time it failed, until Chmelnicki, who thought to ally himself with the Tartars in the Crimea, and together they overthrew the Poles (and massacred the Jooos! in process).

Then, like suckers, they put themselves under the “protection” of the Czar, but I digress. Revolutions usually require outside help, with few exceptions. The French Revolution was initially peaceable and caused by a financial collapse and an oath in a tennis court, so didn’t require outside help. The Russian Revolution was also more a collapse of the Czarist regime, and a “provisional government” peacefully took its place. Later, the French and the Russian revolutions both degenerated into bloodbaths. But the initial revolutions were peaceable in both cases.

Jerusalem would much prefer the Iranian people to succeed in getting a peaceful, sane, sensible government...rather than other countries needing to do it from outside (especially given Israel’s very strong commitment to humanitarian concerns — there could be millions of “collateral casualties” in Iran if Israel and the Arab states have to do it for them).
A very high number of Iranian lives are at stake, this is not just a passing thought or minor matter. Several of the Iranian dictatorship’s most important military targets are hidden in or under large cities

One way or the other, Iran’s time is running out... so with the very very greatest of respect and best wishes for success to the Iranian people— they should shift their efforts into high gear now.

Likewise Gandhi’s satyagraha revolution in India was peaceful. But right after, the conflict between Hindus and Muslims turned into a bloodbath, and after it all, Gandhi was assassinated.

So violent revolutions are the most peaceful, but require help from outside. Peaceful revolutions turn bloody, but are self-contained.

They were in the process of overthrowing the regime under Trump, until Brandon stepped in and started letting them have money.

I know this isn’t directly related to this topic but it is still very relevant. I thought it was a good summary of the current state of things as well as some good suggestions for Israel regarding Russia, Iran and China. A little long (def. put on fast playback) but very informative and worth it IMHO if you haven’t already seen it.

***Let’s not forget that we have a great military of 18 million Iranians who are thirsty for democracy and freedom in Iran,***

Let’s not forget that these same are the children and grandchildren of those who rebelled and invited the Mullah’s in. They have what they asked for. Now they don’t like it.

There was a major uprising in Iran during the Obama Administration attempting to overthrow the government.

Obama did nothing and gave the Mad Mulla government billions with the so called Iranian deal. All the while the Obama Administration was fomenting revolutions around the globe. Mostly in support of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Bolshevik coup that overthrew the Provisional Government in 1917 was enabled and financed by the German High Command.

But that’s oblique support. The French support of the American Revolution was direct, right after George Washington showed that the army he had built could hold its own at Monmouth. Until then, it was oblique support; supplies, volunteers, loans, etc.
