Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said Tuesday on “CBS Mornings” that it was a “fact” former President Donald Trump has mentally declined.
Co-host Nate Burleson asked, “Governor, I want to get your thoughts real quick before we have to let you go. He did get you confused with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. You’ve worked with him closely, you’ve known him for quite some time, do you truly believe he is suffering from cognitive decline?”
Haley said, “Are we really, in this country, going to have two 80-year-olds running for president? It is a fact that when you are their age, you have mental decline. I don’t care who you are. You have mental decline. He didn’t just get me confused, he mentioned it over and over and over again. He’s not what he was in 2016. He has declined. That’s a fact.”

I guess that was a “tit for tat” after Trump referred to her as “bird brained”. Oh, well, it’s politics.
However, the more Haley goes along that line, should Trump’s campaign falter for “legal” reasons (which Haley is hoping for), Haley will hand the election to any Dim contender, because the loyal Trump voters will just “drop out of the race”.
Watching fox you hear about how mean Trump is being to Nikki. He calls her birdbrain. How terrible! It’s going to turn off the moderates and independents. Somehow Nikki basically calling Trump senile is just fine though.
She is a useful idiot to the left and Democrats.
Of course. The Republican establishment has no wish for Trump to win the election. The Dems will have to wait in line to try to bring Trump down. If Trump does lose, it'll be the party establishment itself, not the Dems nor Biden & Co., who'll have delivered the kill-shot.
I'm baffled by the number of people around here who still have't grasped this simple, indeed, self-evident, truth.
Tell that to Albert Schweitzer and Albert Einstein. All people of that age do not have mental decline. Anyone of any age will occasionally misname someone or say one thing when they mean another. This woman is unbelievably desperate and will say or do anything to win the nomination. She’s a liar and a fool.
Winning experience trumps blind ambition any day.
Whereas she never had anything to decline from.
