Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley wasted $76.4 million in losing efforts to defeat former President Donald Trump in the first three GOP primary contests: Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.
The massive amount of money spent in the first three primaries of the 2024 cycle shows how strong Trump’s grassroots support is around the nation.
The money spent also reveals the number of resources the Republican Party did not spend on defeating President Joe Biden.
Leading up to Saturday’s election. Haley claimed she will not drop out of the race until Super Tuesday, which is March 5.

You’re right. When he was promoting his book Two Paths: America Divided or United (2017, about opposing Trump) he thought everyone would gather around him as the sensible, middle of the road guy to end the two poles of voter discontent. They didn’t.
The book was in the dollar stores and sometimes in the “2 for $1” bin. Next to Fix Your Own Smart Car and Vacation in Afghanistan On $50 a day.
Some of Nikki Haley’s voters want to stick it to Pres. Trump. Some are Democrat voters. Some are RINO’s who are not fond of President Trump or his loyal voters. Both groups want Nikki to stay in the race.
Nikki Haley does not appear to have a path to be the Republican presidential candidate. But she may have a path to be the”no labels” presidential candidate. She could be the spoiler candidate.
Explain to us how “no labels” ticket gets on the ballot—state by state.

I love the Secretariat analogy. It is very apropos. Red could have gone around the track again and still passed the other horses before they hit the wire the first time around. That is essentially what Trump is doing in this year’s Republican primaries. Really the only thing keeping Haley afloat is Dem mega-donor money and the media trying to prop up the drama for their ratings. But in a little while she will barely be an afterthought just like Twice a Prince.
