YOU WILL NEVER BE SORRY FOR:

...thinking before speaking,

...hearing before judging,

...forgiving your enemies,

...being candid and frank,

...helping a fallen friend,

...being honest in your work,

...standing by your principles,

...blocking your ears to gossip,

...being courteous and kind.

It does sound like something could have spooked them since they all took off at once - - and at suppertime! LOL

The museum is a mess. LOL The front room isn’t too bad because they’ve already moved most of the stuff in there but the back was a wreck this morning. They got the vehicles in place today while I cleaned everything in the front room. Monday, Mike will start moving the mannequins to their new spots and setting out all the small items that are displayed with each vehicle. I’ll be back there, too, doing what I did today - - cleaning. That’s going to take a while because the room is much larger than the front room and there’s a LOT more in there. A lot of rock dust on everything from when they filled in the mechanics pit.

I’ll definitely crash and burn earlier than usual tonight. :-)

Well, that just wore me out just reading about all that work. LOL! Y’all will have it looking spit-spot in no time, though. I don’t blame you for wanting to go to bed early, though. Wish I didn’t have to, but you know my alarm will appreciate it. :)

Five weeks separation is really weird.

Right now we are more or less feasting while the Western Church is Fasting....and then come March 31 we will be Fasting while the Western Church is Feasting.

Thanks be to God, we will ALL celebrate Pascha/Easter together on the same date in 2025!

I don’t know how, but there is more tree trash in the yard. Everything should already be down.

We didn’t get nearly the bad winds as LH got. And today was minimal at home, but robust and COLD at the mall.

I only had my heavy duty spikies with me, but I will remedy that tomorrow. I found another set in the garage of the “regular” ones I usually use. Fortunately I want very slowly and was able to pick footfalls with gravel until I found clean pavement....maybe a 50’ trek.

And coming out a car stopped and let me tiptoe across the intersection to get back to my car. Very nice of him because I am slow and watch where I put every step. Can’t afford to fall. No way to get up by myself...can’t use my knees/feet unless they are below me, like sitting on the stairs.

Hope you are recuperating nicely this evening.

LOL! I know the feeling well. I keep thinking there just CAN’T be anything left in the trees here to break off but there’s always more new tree trash when the winds are strong.

It’s amazing - and good luck - that you didn’t have strong winds yesterday. They were awful at LH. One good thing is the roofs are all clear of snow now. Snow was flying through the air all over the place out there.

I guess no more strong wind is expected since Groomer 1 was out on the lake today smoothing down and packing the lumpy snow. No way any of the seaplanes could land on that mess.

If I recall correctly, it’s supposed to warm up a little next week. It’s been right nippy up there the past several days. BRRRRRR

Glad you were able to get across the parking lot ok. Falling would have been bad. It’s too bad you couldn’t get one of the parking spots by the door.

As long as I don’t move, I don’t feel too bad. But when I get up, I hurt all over. Reaching up, bending down, climbing up and down a tall step ladder - all stuff I’m not used to doing for over 6 hours non-stop. Well, we all did sit down for a few minutes to eat pizza. :-)

A long day but it was a fun one.

A very pleasant good Sunday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

There were a lot of people out at the lake yesterday however we did get to walk the beach and visit the pavilion.

We also had ribs for supper.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Judging by Gizmo’s happy face, the other people at the lake didn’t dampen his fun at all. :-)

BRRRRRRRRRRR!! Keep that up there!!! LOL
Things are starting to bloom around here. I hope we don’t have an arctic hit this late in the game.

Monday’s not far off and you’ve gotten your office run out of the way. It won’t be so bad when you head out Thursday.
