Klobuchar: This Election Is About ‘Codifying Roe v. Wade into Law’
Breitbart ^ | 03/26/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/26/2024 5:44:06 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that the election in November was about electing lawmakers “to codify Roe v. Wade into law.”

Klobuchar said, “This all came out of Dobbs. We wouldn’t be having these arguments right now. This came out of Dobbs. We used to have protections for the women of this country. That was called Roe v. Wade. That Dobbs decision turned it on its head. now we are seeing a patchwork. If the judges went the other way on this, it wouldn’t just be states where abortion is banned, it would be every state in the country banning a safe and effective drug. This is just the beginning, whether it’s the Alabama IVF ruling, whether it’s these cases out of Texas, whether it’s the assault on emergency care, we’re going to continue to see because of the Dobbs decision, and the failure sadly of many Republicans to side with us on codifying Roe v. Wade into law, we are not able to do that right now.”

All they have is abortion. They can't run on the economy or anything else. I guess this is a dog whistle for white suburban women who love them some abortion

I believe this. They will push for a national law on abortion.

On the upside, more liberals than conservatives will use it which will help make conservatism the law of the land.

SCOTUS has ruled abortion to be a states’ issue. A federal law written to enshrine and protect abortion violates that constitutional separation of power.

Although libtards aren’t known for paying attention to the Constitution...

Facts don’t matter. They want a campaign issue. The best thing that would happen to the Dems is for a law to never pass.

And many states have already put up proposals on abortions that passed and are now enshrined in their perspective state constitutions, it’s no longer a national issue but the dems will still run on it long after we’re dead.

The birth rate among citizens is crashing. The country is being flooded by people from countries with little or no concept of a constitutional republic. Yet Dems are worried we're not slaughtering enough children in the womb.

The sad thing is that there are still a huge percentage of Americans who are single-issue voters when it comes to supporting a woman's "right" to murder.

Poor Amy just still doesn’t get it. Even ‘codifying’ it into law doesn’t make that law Constitutional. The USSC by its ruling has already said ‘abortion’ is not the purview of the federal government, period. Nothing about it as a right in the Constitution.

All they have? Its everything. They want women to be able to legally murder another human being. It makes them “superior” to men. They still believe that because govt lets them do it, murder is okay. They think somehow this supercedes Gods law, because some other men and women tell them its ok to do this.

You wanna talk about the Milgram experiments, this is way more than those.

They’ve done that for every election, special election and every proposition. If you were winning, would you quite saying it?

SCOTUS has ruled abortion to be a states’ issue.

If they want to make abortion legal in all 50 states, then they need to amend the Constitution.

Still unconstitutional. For the time being.

Unfortuntely for us God-fearing people, it WORKS. The souls of millions of Americans are empty shells, and they have replaced our Lord with their own egos and worship "rights" and our sick culture as idols. This means we need to put the issue ASIDE for now, as it is a sure loser.

Every election is about abortion. They can have as many as they want, but every election is about abortion....Their fixed numbers say so.

we have the abortion pill before the USSC now. Not sure of the reason...I think safety...

Why would I vote "Yes" for someone to kill their baby if I wouldn't even consider it? Makes absolutely no sense.

SCOTUS heard the abortion pill case today. Their ruling could fire up the abort vote.

Illegal immigration and economy will be voter’s main issues.

I think we may have record low voter turnout .

Winnable issue for the DEMs with women, men who want to be women, and men who have less testosterone than the average woman.

I think we may have record low voter turnout.

I think that may be true, on Election Day. Not so with early voting, absentee voting, re-scanned ballots voting, and electronic manipulation of voting results. Those will be in *record* numbers.

So abortion is more important to lefties than illegal immigration, crime, lax criminal prosecution, etc.

Gotcha 😉
