Reports: Baltimore Bridge Rebuild to Cost Between $400 Million and Billions of Dollars

Efforts to build a bridge where the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, stood until Tuesday are estimated to cost anywhere from $400 million to several billion dollars, according to reports.

Punchbowl News reports — citing sources from the Biden administration, Capitol Hill, and Annapolis — that the undertaking to replace the bridge, which collapsed after a cargo ship named Dali crashed into one of its pier foundations, will cost “several billion dollars.”

I'd say it's more around 60 billion with all the kickbacks and payoffs to local, state and federal governments and the union kickbacks

The left would rather not have the bridge rebuilt at all than to have Trump rebuild it successfully. After Trump’s election in ‘16 New Yorkers were boycotting the rink because he had rebuilt it.

Compare with the Woodrow Wilson Bridge just a bit south on I-95 over the Potomac.

They could take their time with the new bridge because the old one was still in place.

In this case, there is only one bridge and it's broken.
