Thank you, Israel, for taking out the trash.

Love for Israel is not the same thing is understanding History and Biblical Truth. God does not need my permission nor yours to decide how He will judge His creation.

I will not waste my time and effort trying to teach you history— let me guess you still believe the earth came about over billions of years from some cosmic boom of stuff which you can explain where the “stuff” came from. Got it.

I chose the more logical and scientific truth that about 6,000 years ago God existed and chose to speak the universe that we live in into existence

This is a clear and present escalation on Israel's part; and not the kind easily forgotten by anyone in the region --- or beyond.

It certainly will be seen by Iran as an escalation, but

1. It wasn't the Iranian embassy that was struck.

2. Those killed in the attack were Hezbollah and IRGC, both of which are designated terrorist organizations. They were meeting to facilitate attacks on Israel.

Hezbollah and their sponsor, Iran, would have been wise to avoid attacking Israel when they were engaged in war with Gaza following the Oct 7 attacks. But they jumped in to open a second front to support Hamas. Israel has the right to defend herself, including attacks against Hezbollah in states that provide them sanctuary, and allow attacks from their soil.

Israel should do what it needs to. We’d not need to get involved unless Iran or it’s proxies attack us.

"Syria says" . . .

This (center of photo) is/was a building that is immediately next to the Iranian Embassey in Damascus.

Either a device was set within the building, or a kinetic weapon was dropped - the resourceful party is UNKNOWN.

If concerned, you should call the mod’s attention to the comment. I agree the poster is not pro Israel which mystifies me as any civilized country should support Israel in my opinion.

Names similar to a city council meeting roll call in Dearborn, Michigan or Hamtramck.

“In November 2015, Hamtramck became the first American city to elect a Muslim-majority city council. In 2022, it became the first American city to have an all-Muslim government.”

Gives you goosebumps to think about it, doesn’t it?

Isn't crossing a state's legal border to attack a diplomatic compound an act of war against not one, but two countries --- the host country (Syria) and its invited international guest (Iran)?

What would we do if any country crossed into Qatar and bombed the diplomatic US compound? What's Israel going to do when Israeli diplomatic compounds become the target of similar retaliation?

This *is* Israeli escalation --- and I fear our diplomats/military in the region and around the world will pay the price.

How is what Isreal does have anything to do with us.

The U.S. traditionally casts a veto over any UN Security Council condemnation of any of Israel's illegal acts. It's almost as if Israel has the veto power.

Biden has asked for 14.3 Billion in military aid to Israel.

If the muslims were winning a war against Israel, what would the U.S. be expected to do?

If Israel starts a war it can't handle, it may have very serious consequences for the U.S.

U.S. tells Iran it “had no involvement” in Israel strike
Adios, Apr 1, 2024

The U.S. told Iran that it “had no involvement” or advanced knowledge of an Israeli strike on a diplomatic compound in Syria that killed a senior Iranian general, according to a U.S. official.

The rare message shows the Biden administration is deeply concerned that the Israeli strike could lead to a regional escalation and the resumption of attacks by pro-Iranian militias against U.S. forces.

Israel notified the Biden administration a few minutes before its air force conducted the strike but didn’t ask for a U.S. green light, Israeli and U.S. officials said.

A U.S. official said the Israeli heads-up wasn’t detailed and arrived when the military jets were already in the air. The Israelis didn’t tell the U.S., for example, that they were planning to bomb a building in the Iranian embassy compound.

The strike took place shortly before White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan and Secretary of State Blinken started a secure video conference call with top Israeli officials to discuss alternatives to an Israeli ground invasion in Rafah.

From the NY Times -—

“Iran’s foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, said in a post on the social media site X that Iran had summoned the Swiss ambassador after midnight local time and asked that an important message be delivered to Washington: That as Israel’s ally, the “U.S. must answer” for Israel’s actions. Switzerland acts as the United States’ representative in the absence of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Washington.

In Washington, a spokeswoman for the National Security Council, Adrienne Watson, said that “the United States had no involvement in the strike” and “did not know about it ahead of time.”

A U.S. official, who requested anonymity to discuss private communication, said that the statement had been communicated directly to Iran.”

If that is an accurate report.

I wonder if we’ll ever see proof or if this is just a means by which some people are now safer because they are presumed dead and therefore not a threat, so nobody is hunting them down any more.

My understanding is that they didn’t attack the embassy.

They got a building next to it.

Tx. From a related Axios article:

Iran's ambassador to Syria, Hossein Akbari, said Israeli fighter jets fired six missiles from the Golan Heights that hit the consulate building.

He said he was in his office at the embassy when the strike took place.

So the weapon(s) that hit the adjacent building, was(were) kinetic penetrators.

The video itself says it was a building next to the embassy. You should ask a mod to fix your title.

So what the hell is Netanyahu doing? He’s trying to drag us into WW3.

Wrong. Netanyahu is responding to swirling deteriorating events largely created by the global Left out of a sense of national self preservation.
