What's going on with the fonts?

What happened to the fonts around here? Seems when I look at responses, things are blockquoted and in an odd font.

I made a few changes to the software. I'm wrapping all text in a pair of blockquotes, and am experimenting with the new font. I think it's easier to read. I also extended the em tag to do
yellow highlighting.
Also, if you blockquote some text, it will appear indented and in italics. Thanks to the many wonders of cascading style sheets.

You're right. I thought it was something I did and I've been trying to undo it on another thread. Now I find that it is everywhere.

The new font is easier to read, but it's a little large. Can you reduce it a point or two? (I like the indentation, except those parentheses look funny.)

Well, I like not having to fix someone else's open tags. But both the yellow AND the font are ugly.
