Evidence of Iraqi involvement would have meant that x42 would have had to take action and be a commander, which is something he is not. And it would have meant he would have had to curtial his obsession with Hollywood, sluts and money grubbing...all things he cannot live without.

Remember that several of the Middle-Eastern types identified from photos and sketches by witnesses in OKC were/are agents/double agents/triple agents "handled" by the FBI. Quite embarrassing to "the foremost law-enforcement agency in the world" don't ya think?

Er, and many "former" Republican Guard members were granted visas and asylum here during the presidency of Bush the Elder, because they really never did like that mean ol' Saddam . . .cough, cough.

It also meant he could not demonize Rush Limbaugh and talk radio by blaming the VRWC for the bombing by McVeigh.

He and his cronies, in and out of hollywierd and the media, could not have blamed Rush Limbaugh and the rest of us Vast Right Wing Conspirators. Wouldn't have done a thing for "gun control" either.

It isn't just the Hollywierd hobnobbing that held x42 back. It was also the little fact that more than anything in the world, he wanted to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for creating peace in the Middle East. If he went after Iraq, that might have blown (excuse the term) his chances. That's how his feeble little mind works: what's in it for me? As a nice little bonus, he got to discredit the white conservatives in this country, most particularly those who owned guns. (Never mind that no gun was used to blow up the Murrah Building.)
