Environmental groups pride themselves on not "directly" harming humans. Same for animal rights groups. That is how they are able to get people sympathetic to their cause. If these groups were to use Bio-terrorism it would have started in Europe (more likely England) first and then worked its way across the Pond.

We execute them in "a New York minute".
?Carbey Joe, would you change your mind if your girlfriend Hillary died of anthrax? Of course that'll never happen. Her flunkies pre-breath all of her air for her.

I'm with you, Steve Buyer. Brute force is the only language those people understand. Time to show them we mean business.

I DISAGREE. We should use Big nuclear weapons ... Forget the Nukes...
We have all this XV nerve gas sitting waiting to be destroyed. I may have a better use for it.
And, as a plus, no fall-out and no waiting 1000 years to pull out their dead carcasses!

I would rather congress start kicking arabs out of the country. When they do this then I will be ready to discuss nukes. Untill then it is just another issue for them to blow smoke about. They are not serious about protecting the american people yet.

I agree that nukes should be used but what if it turns out to be an Amerircan Terror group that is responsible?"
Absolutely! What do we do if the people spreading the Anthrax via our postal system are home grown terrorists! Please see my replies # 27 adn 39 on this thread.

The Politicians are probably not serious enough yet to start protecting American citizens Damn, winodog, you are probaby right!

We execute them if their home grown terrorists. Then we nuke the other ones just for good measure.

Good advice!
Hows that ?

Your screen namesake was the first president to face this issue head on in a fight for America's very survival. I agree that there may come a time when a national ID card might be reasonable, as well as some restrictions on our privacy. However, I don't believe that we have come anywhere close to that time, even if this Anthrax situation turns out to be much worse than it currently is. I certainly don't think it will EVER get to the point where using nukes will be a reasonable response. I just thank God that Rep. Steve Buyer, if he is doing anything more than blowing off steam, is not making the decisions right now.
And whatever happened to "Give me liberty or give me death!"?

The rapid spread of hoof and mouth disease in the UK has been suggested by many to have been spread by the violet pro Animal groups in England. Of course before 9/11 nothing would have been said or done on this!
One of the leading PETA hags this summer said that she would have no problem using Hoof and Mouth disease in America!
As far as non violent in America, some of the PETA terrorist in the field with fishers are far from non violent! Particuliarly if they are back in the forests and feel that they can get by with violence!

To me, it's not out of the realm of possibilities.
From the Presidents address to Congress...
"We will direct every resource at our command -- every means of diplomacy, every tool of intelligence, every instrument of law enforcement, every financial influence, and every necessary weapon of war -- to the destruction and to the defeat of the global terror network."
To: DCBryan1
The situation calls for so-called clean 'neutron' weapons which kill with neutron radiation of a very short half-life but cause substantially less conventional damage. Use those on the famous 20-mile-square box and binladen's remains can safely be recovered.

A bit OT: I'm very concerned that the numerous swarthy suspects we've detained so far in the U.S., at least some of whom I'm sure are guilty as hell, may in time be released, as we're still following rather too closely western laws of jurisprudence in wartime, plus they have attorneys, etc...
If eventual release indeed occurs, I think, a la Mossad or Shin Beth, we (i.e., the gov't) may have to, untraceably, whack 'em, or at least the smelliest ones. If we're contemplating nukes, i.e., the macro, can we afford to overlook this, the micro? Am I nuts? Any opinions?
As I'm a relatively new FReeper, I apologize if I should've posted this on a different thread, but I couldn't find a more appropriate one off the bat...
