I don't understand waking up on Thanksgiving morning and discovering then that you're having 20 people over for dinner. Ya know what? That makes TWO of us! ;-)
But after awhile one gets used to it and just goes with the flow!

Same to you Susan!! And I hope Betty Crocker comes through for ya - lol. actually, if your anything like me, you function more efficiently under pressure. Lynn

yep - JFK assasination, my high school boyfriend's birthday, my nephew's birthday, the date of my husband's memorial service. The personal memories attached to the date mean more than the JFK assasination --- but that's as it should be. I look at the people who fell apart when Diana died in the car wreck, and I think - GET A LIFE! That said, I do remember the day JFK was shot. I was in the first grade I think, and when I got home from school my Mom was crying. It was an event that touched every American's life.
I am stuffed!

Yes, it is a long time.. How have you been? I hope you had a lovely day.. I read on the threads that you were missing your Mrs.. If I'm right, did you fend well enough for yourself? We spent the day boating..and lunching on the boat. I'm tired..

Was it peanut butter toast for you tonight, Jim? or stew in a can??

I read it somewhere that you know how to converse like a professional sailor..is that true?? lol
To: grannie9
You are well informed. Why is it that we go out on the water, feel like we're 19, and when we disembark feel like we're a 119? That is so bizarre! But so true for me. ;-)

Probably should have been, but while wandering the grocer's aisles, I saw a great deal on pork chops, bought'em, grilled'em, and will be eating them for a while. Stuffed, JL

Head of the class! I missed the annual Kennedy Deification Festival this year.
I remeber where I was, too, but it looks like we're finally ready to let it go...
