You did no such thing because there were no inaccuracies. You don't seem to be able to keep a stream of thought going. No wonder you are unhappy.

I am reminded of when I first found FR. There was much disention among the ranks as to who would run the show, Jim Robinson or Don Morgan, Mojo, and a bunch of others.
--- Inaccurate. In August of '98, there was, as yet, no real coven. They started their disruptive activities in earnest oct/nov, & the big dust up, where they thought they 'took over' was at xmas '98.
There were the same complaints being made now about censorship, etc., back then.

Well, I don't suppose that you need to be reminded that Jim Robinson still runs the show here, and as a result, FR is continually outgrowing itself while the spin offs aren't doing too well. Since some of you are no longer making contributions to the intellectual exchange here, instead just complaining about what FR is, or has become as you say, why don't you simply do as the earlier malcontents did and go do your own thing elsewhere?

You forget that prior to leaving in a huff, the coven were playing their power games with the benign approval of the FR-PTB. -- To my mind, much the same game is being played now, and some of the present authoritarian crowd may even be the same players.
I wish someone would/could say it isn't so, with a explanation of why it sure looks that way.

True moral cowards require outside force or the threat of force to make 'moral' decisions.

Such an environment devoids the choices of any moral meaning - disallowing the actual choice of good for its own merit - as the choice is made under compulsion or duress.
All that hold or support his philosophy are evil.
FreeRepublic was around long before Lucy.com. In fact, Lucy was a poster here under the screen name Trixie. When she started her site, some of her flying monkeys started a major flame war here and slandered Jim Robinson trying to lure posters to lucy's site. It was an ugly time but as can be easily understood, FreeRepublic has prevailed.
This article must have been a bullseye.
