Michael Rivero claims the bin Laden tape is a "government lie" - he posted this as the picture from the bin laden tape.



As you can see in the first picture is from the bin Laden tape and shows him. The second picture was a manipulation by Michael Rivero in order to further his propaganda.

Look - his rep FAR preceeded his appearing on FR.

His brand of 'idiocy' is legend on the internet.

To the newbie of his brand of conspiracism - he looks like a 'genuis' -

(Of course, I just *know* you can't do your own search on the internet of the compound term 'michael rivero' so I can understand why he's got the hold on you he has. It truly is the simple minded he 'corrals' and rides ...)

I have seen at least several portions of the video, perhaps not all. I do not claim to have seen a frame exactly matching the picture. My memory for video frames is not that great.

So let's say you have established an absence of disproof for the fakery charge. The standard for conviction is set higher than that.

Why don't you track Rivero down and make accusations to his face instead of doing it behind his back and on a forum where he cannot respond?

Too many freepers would rather have info with which they agree than info which is factual or thought-provoking. It's easier to go along than actually think and find the weaknesses in a theory or arguement.

I've never watched the videos, I don't know where to find them. It's a waste of time IMO, there is no way to tell if any of the tapes are legitimate or not, I just have to trust in the media(not reliable), or others with an agenda.

I'm not saying the tapes are fake, or implying that, it just seems to be worthless to the common citizen. Maybe the CIA or the military can do something with the info.

Right. There is no arguing with someone like MR, who has stated on this forum, when confronted with information that contradicted his position, to "prove there was no conspiracy"...

Are you condoning a Freeper (_Jim) who cuts, pastes, and posts to FreeRepublic the previous internet musings of someone (Rivero) who has been banned and cannot defend himself ?  (e.g. 251, 257, 260 above)

If so, does that mean we can assume this will be an acceptable practice against anyone who has been banned?  Are we safe in assuming that the banned "someone" could theoretically be any one of us and not just Michael Rivero? 

Or are you making an exception in Rivero's case for some special reason?
