Some Gave All **TV Program heads-up**
PAX ^

This coming Sunday night on PAX T.V. there is a repeat of a program that was being produced prior to Sept. 11, 2001, as an honor to U.S. servicemen and women.
During filming, the terrorist attacks occurred and the producers incorporated into the program many men and women firefighters and police who were at the WTC.
It is really good and worth watching, even taping. It is a two-hour program, starting at 8p.m. (at least on the East Coast).

On a side note, two weeks ago they had an episode of a woman dying of cancer, and she stated "I am ready to go. I accepted what Jesus did for me on the cross some time ago".
I was quite surprised. I expected the ACLU to try to remove it off the airwaves.

El Bumpo.

Thanks for the ping. Sounds like a good show. I know that this must sound awfully dumb, but what is PAX T.V?

PAX is a television station out of West Palm Beach Fl. It used to only have real good, basically clean/wholesome stuff, but (I think it was) NBC that bought them out a year or so ago, but they still have some good stuff. Maybe www.gist.com would have it in your area?

It is a good episode. Instead of commercials, they switch to studio interviews with WWI & II, Korean and VN war vets, and also WTC and Pentagon heroes.

There's also a special on HBO on Sunday, 1:05 run time, at 9PM EDT. "Former NY mayor Rudy Guiliani and members of his staff share their memories of the attacks on WTC in this sobering documentary".

Thanks, I will see if I can get my sis to tape it.

Thanks for the heads up. We get the feeling that Pax has no problem doing programs, shows, series that brings up the good values and presents them in a positive light instead of tearing them down like CBSABCNBC do.

Thanks, Molly, we saw the Doc Show twice when it ran.
There was not a dry eye in our house or my son's home when both homes watched it.

Most welcome. I am not a big TV watcher but do tune in when there is a good one on.

U.S. Memorial Day, May 30
"Changing the date merely to create three-day weekends has undermined the very meaning of the day.
No doubt, this has contributed greatly to the general public's nonchalant observance of Memorial Day."
