"[Maryland] Senator Miller [D] has a history of attempting to bully the judiciary," said Del. Robert L. Flanagan (R-Howard). [SNIP] According to one lawsuit, filed by Prince George's County Executive Wayne K. Curry (D), the most egregious example of boundary-crossing occurs in District 27, newly drawn to accommodate Miller's move out of his family's Prince George's home and into a waterfront mansion in Calvert County. [SNIP] [Sen.] Ruben [D - Montgomery], asked whether Miller told her to call Raker, said: "I'm not going to respond to that."

Maryland State Senator Mike Miller's bullying of the judiciary is a result of the one-party system in Maryland (and Miller's own lack of ethics and bullying nature). If a non-Senator had made ex parte communications to a judge in a pending case, he/she would be suspended or disbarred. The only question is whether the law in Maryland will apply equally to this powerful, bully of Democrat Senator. We'll see.

You have dutifully snipped enough of the Pest article that what you have posted is less than coherent.

Having read the whole article, though, I agree that it documents the utter arrogance of, in particular, Mike Miller and, in general, the RATS who control Maryland. It is the inevitable result of one-party rule.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. Send money to Bob Ehrlich (www.bobehrlich.com). He is a competent, attractive Republican candidate for Governor. He will be running against a Kennedy who considers the job her birthright. She is not a strong candidate, but Bob needs to get his message out and wake up the electorate.

Don't get mad. GET EVEN!

...She is not a strong candidate...

An understatement. She makes Algore look bright by comparison.

After the Superbowl game two years ago, she said "I was really worried when the Giants made a football [touchdown] but then the Reavens came right back and made a football."

I live outside Maryland but have contributed to Ehrlich and plan to contribute more. Let's make sure he's the one who "makes a football" on election day.

Did she really say that? I knew she wasn't the brightest (okay, she's about as bright as coal) but thats just too good.

Yes, she did! And on Preakness Day she referred to the winning horse - War Emblem - as "Warmonger"

She was the official representative of the Maryland government at Pimlico, instead of the Governor - just a little free campaign publicity, courtesy of Gov Glendenning.

I wonder what traction the media would have given this story if this had been done by Republicans?
