Important 2nd Amendment Rights Mixer and Strategy Session - Thursday, July 18, 2002

What: Alcohol may be consumed, tobacco products may be consumed (on the patio), firearms will be discussed (hence "ATF Night"), and for the hungry, absolutely delicious food is available. At ATF Night we do allow anyone who would like to make announcements to do so.

Where: San Gennaro Cafe (banquet room), 9543 Culver Blvd., Culver City, CA (310) 836-0400

When: Cocktail hour starts at 6:30 p.m., during which those who desire may order off the menu; we generally begin our program around 7:30 p.m.

Who: Anyone who is interested in liberty.

Why: Because we enjoy our liberties.

How: Your only limitation is your imagination.

Highlight of the Evening: T.J. Johnston, N.R.A. Master Training Counselor followed by a Question & Answer Session

Note: Sam Paredes, Executive Director of Gun Owners of California, who was originally scheduled to speak this month, must remain in Sacramento this week due to several important bills working their way through the California Legislature. Sam and T.J. have therefore "traded" their ATF Night speaking engagements, and Sam will speak to our group in August instead of July, and T.J. has graciously rearranged his schedule so as to be our July speaker instead of in August.

I understand . . . so put the 3rd Thursday of NEXT month on your calendar now - August 15 - our Featured Speaker that night will be Sam Paredes, the Executive Director of Gun Owners of California.

And note to all L.A. area FReepers -- I have it on good authority that an excellent candidate for assembly may be in attendance. That's worth the trip down to the westside in and of itself.
