We've been staring at that pitiful Elvis impersonator for months. Time for him to go.

Yeah and can they stop making such a big deal about him on the news, he's been dead since the 70s. Must be nothing important going on in 2002. Enough already...

Okay, you're creepin' me out now. How the hell are you doing that? LOL!

Enough of those horrid Elvis movies, as well.
To: EggsAckley
Two yrs before Elvis died a good friend of mine commented that someday Elvis would die and he would be bigger dead than he ever was alive.
To: EggsAckley
thank you. in the words of chevy chase, news anchor for SNL "elvis is STILL dead!"
To: EggsAckley
Why all the hatred towards Elvis? If you don't like him, DON'T WATCH! Is it that hard?
To: Always Right
I certainly don't have any hatred for Elvis. I'm just sick of him cluttering the front page of Free Republic. Sheesh!
To: balrog666
I heard it from no less an authority than Willie Nelson that Elvis' final words were, "Corn?!!!"

And your friend was correct. Elvis is bigger now than when he was alive and he will continue to be celebrated even bigger and bigger as the years go on. He IS the King of Rock and Roll. :)
