Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., and Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., who came in first and second, respectively, in Washingtonian magazine's "meanest" senator category, according to a survey of Hill staffers.

With Babs, it's partly a gender thing. She hates men. With women, it's "Get down or get out"?

No. I have no problem with GOVERNMENT. It's POLITICIANS that I have a huge problem with.

I just had to do that -- tongue in cheek -- because you've done it to me so many times under similar circumstances.

Her staffers say those constituents need more help than those in other districts.

Can we say PLANTATION MENTALITY, boys and girls?

Nathan Williams, who went to work for Jackson Lee in 1998 after graduating from Princeton University, said he quit in 2001 after she threw a cell phone at him.

"I don't think I ever got home before 11 o'clock at night," he said of his years with the congresswoman. "And the latest I was in the office was at 8:30 in the morning -- at the latest.

The real Ms. Lee, or should I say MASSA Lee.

>>> They're a bunch of lazy slobs who spend their whole lives sucking at the teat of government. And what comes out of those teats is the taxes you and I pay.<<<

>>>Can the same be said of Daschle's, Gephardts, Franks', Sanders', Clinton's, and Wellstone's constituents? <<<

It is my contention that the Democratic Party is, in fact, the party of the non-working man. That is, they respresent people who don't produce anything. Welfare recipients, Trust fund children, Trial Lawyers, Hollywood fatcats make up the main constituency group for the Democratic Party. Not sure why so many people get sucked in by that "Party for the Working People" crap. They are the party for people who want to live off of the "working people."

Former district director Larry Green said the congresswoman's constituents have more problems than those of other lawmakers, which spreads her staff thin.

Their biggest problem is that they keep voting this incompetent TWIT into office! She's the one who asked, when seeing pictures from Mars, "Can we see the flag the astronauts left?"

Due to the racial structure of her district, she will be voted in again and again. All she would have to do is just show up at the office and sit there to keep her position. What a shame.

Talk about it!

That is, they respresent people who don't produce anything. Welfare recipients, Trust fund children, Trial Lawyers, Hollywood fatcats make up the main constituency group for the Democratic Party.

Both poor and rich "non-producers." Bingo.

Not sure why so many people get sucked in by that "Party for the Working People" crap. They are the party for people who want to live off of the "working people."

You're not sure "why?" Well, let me tell you.

For all of the Left's treachery, it makes efficient, effective use of both the media and their marketing plan. Every other word you hear from them includes "working man" in it.

After so long and whether or not it's actually true, it sticks. It's the big lie that is repeated enough to not even be questioned by most.

You are right, Sheila Jackson Lee could announce that henceforth she will go everywhere nude in sympathy for "oppressed" nudists, and she will still win in that Demo part of Houston, Texas. People in that part of Houston cannot be shamed.

People in Abilene, Texas, would sooner scrap the song "Abilene" than retire "their" Congressman Stenholm. People in Abilene are "convinced" that Stenholm is a "strong conservative."

i believe nowadays, you can successfully go through 4+ years of "higher education" (with honors) at ANY facility and learn absolutely nothing. the courses that are offered are all fluff and dumbed down with a huge, left-leaning to the point of toppled, biased agenda.

that is why the employers in this country need to wake up and see past "the piece of paper."

there should be some intelligence test given instead of looking at puffed-up resumes. hire people that are truly intelligent and self-made; otherwise, only dopes like mckinney and lee will making a decent living; whilst those who can think for themselves will be asking if you want cheese on that.

human resources is rapidly becoming a "young liberals/diversity club."

Good distinction...ethically vs. ethNically.

It really was a point I had never thought about. This column gives her some type of 'credit' for hiring ethnically diverse employees.

Now.....if this was white politician, there would be no question as to what an 'ethnically diverse' employee would be. It would be anyone who is non-white.

But to an Hispanic or Black or Asian politician....what would be THEIR ethnically diverse employee?

Or maybe I just had too much coffee this morning.....LOL!

Nevermind.

Yale should be embarassed by this grad! Her grammar is horrible (her nouns and verbs tend to agree only on a random basis) and her logical arguments and conclusions are usually inversely related to truth.
