Hell, I've had at least eight if not more of those injuries listed during my work career, but the difference is, I've got to do 25 years with these ailments before I can retire and I don't get paid as much.

I agree, I got a shoulder that droops about a half inch lower than the other one from tackling running backs with my right shoulder. That's been 25 years ago .

The picture was only to point out cheerleaders are not what football is all about, especially male cheerleaders getting a ride on a buffalo.

And I'll bet you at least half of those injuries to ol' Troy Ache-man were the result of defenders from the Philadelphia E-A-G-L-E-S.

Ha, ha! We (Central Michigan) beat the hapless Bearkats of Sam Houston State 34-10. Let's hope that's a start on a winning season. Next Saturday vs. Wyoming is going to be tough, could get our butts kicked. We play Marshall at home October 26.

Just watched a documentary on TV about the 1970 Marshall football tragedy ... returning from a game against East Carolina on November 14, 1970 their charter flight crashed on approach to the Huntington, WV airport. All on board were killed. The following season the football program resumed and with a rag tag group of football players pulled together from the student body, and a few players who had not made the trip, went on to their best season in 20 years, winning their conference in 1971.
