Now on a serious side I will make a moot point to this group of friends here on FR..............When the SHTF in Iraq I strongly suggest ya'll watch yer six real close. I don't think this one is gonna be a cake walk here at home..........just my chicken little society SWAG.

I have wondered at Saddam being so ballsy with Bush. But I figured he had something nasty to shock our troops with. You know, we go blow something up and spread who knows what for miles....makes more sense for him to foul our nest rather than his though.

I don't want to "scare" you any more than you claim you are already....but your 6 is not your only exposed sector...

We're being told everyday.. that the "Peaceful Muslims" have long toothed "trained" enemy cells all over the U.S...we're going to have to eyeball and cover 360 24/7 - almost impossible..

If the SHTF - and urban war breaks out -- it could quickly get uglier than the Civil War..if our "Peaceful Muslims" spring into defensive mode for the radical Islamanazis on a rampage... Also unknown in this scenario - is how will the Black Muslims, Black Panthers, White Supremists, Greens, Marxists, Communists and other domestic trash - react...

Are your eyes and legs up for another campaign...at least this one is close to home....we won't have to go so far.

This is the second article I've seen tonight discussing this. I don't know if it's an attempt by the left to scare us out of going to war, or if it's a trial balloon by the administration to see if the public is really prepared for what's coming. So, just in case, I'll tell them what I think.

I don't doubt that he has them. I don't doubt that he'll use them. I don't doubt that they're already here.

I don't doubt that this country will become a war zone, somewhere along the line in this fight. I don't doubt there are other homegrown subversive groups who will try to take advantage of the chaos.

But most of all, I don't doubt that I'm an American. Let's roll.

Agree 100% "six" is just the analogy of stay safe as ya know..........As to the knees. I am grateful I get to stay close to home this time but heh. If they need a 50 year old EOD tech over there then IMHO our "six" is a moot point as were gonna be up to our hips in domestic trash and trouble indeed.

Some demolition trained troops in Desert Storm made that mistake the first time of not knowing what ordnance (chemical /biological) was present when they conducted demolition on a munitions site.

A sweep of all "captured ordnance to be disposed" by qualified Explosive Ordnance Disposal troops will preclude such hopefully from happening.

Now the possibility does exist for Zoomies to drop Mark Series Gravity Bombs on such a site as you describe ......... Entirely possible.

Who should we watch out for? Kamikaze A-rabs, or Homeland Security thugs and the newly-deputized "citizen snoops" sent to peek in our windows to make sure we're not doing anything naughty?

I'm half-joking on that, but I fear opportunistic bureaucrat tyrants-in-waiting almost as much as a foreign suicide bomber.
