Mr. President, don't wait one minute to do this: millions of leaflets dropped offering $1 million in U.S. currency to anyone in Iraq who will reveal the location of a nuclear, biological, or chemical plant designed for weapons of mass destruction. In addition, safe passage out of the country.

Dubya just lost his butt. If he goes against the UN bureaucracy we will have NO allies, except possibly Britain. If he lets the UN run things, nothing will happen - the UN will collude with Hussein rather than risk a war (icky!).

Never embarass a politician in power, folks. The WOT just got bigger and better and it will be happening only in America.

I just hope this isn't another 36hrs ceasefire and the creep will get away again!! I don't like this because the UN is already declaring it a PEACEFUL RESOLUTION!! This is the UN's way of getting back at W! I pray Mr. Bush has something up his sleave to counter attack this move!

I wonder what the DemonRATS are gonna say now?

Easy. They're going to say that Iraq has complied with the U.N, and that there is no need to 'beat the war drums'.

And that simple statement wil be difficult to refute.

Will it turn out like this?

Applying the benefit of a doubt, but, only time will tell.

The best news about this is that when all this falls through, the American military will be ready and waiting.

No way is Sadaam going to allow inspectors to go everywhere in Iraq. Like Brit said -- what about when they go up to a Mosque? Not to mention the United States/Britain will never allow the inspectors to be headed by Annan's handpicked man -- never, ever.

Annan has just proved to the world that the United Nations is not only irrelavent but they cannot even listen to the President's speech and understand what he said. Inspectors were not mentioned as stated by Fox but yet that is what Annan and the Iraqi's focused on.

Time for Annan to pack his bags and leave!

One problem I see is that ths gives the Democrats an excuse to drag their feet on debating a war authorization.

BINGO! I bet Daschle can hardly contain his joy right now. I swear our enemies count on Democrats to do most of their work for them. And how easily it is accomplished.

So now we have to stop and frisk every rogue nation by hand, room to room...

I think I liked it better when we had them empty their pockets, or we'd kick their ass.

Looks like time for the Big Stick. They think we're kidding. They always think that. So now do we turn in our enlightened High School indoctrination that "Gunboat Diplomacy" is an outmoded concept...If we had done it better, we wouldn't have to re-learn and re-teach it now. It's sloppier...involves more civilians this way. I wish some could cope with the untidy fact that being a little harder and clearer ALL the time is better than getting out The Belt...to prevent more carnage next...and to discourage it at all.

If the UN inspectors go back in I hope Saddam doesn't use them as human shields against a potential US invasion.

Which aces are you referring to: the Education Bill Aces or the ANWAR Aces?

From where I'm sitting, he Folds more than he Calls. (not that I don't realize the deck is stacked against him)

More than likely Gephardt and Daschle were on the phone non-stop with Sadaam, begging him to let the inspectors back in. There's no way that they want to deal with this before the elections.

Yup. I expect press conference from Daschle or Hitlary soon saying "problem solved (all bow to the UN) - so let's move on - and now back to our regularly scheduled socialism - Repubs are stealing your retirement, free prescription drugs..... "

Time to start lobbing over our new "inspector-tipped" ballistic missiles in ASAP. Nicknamed "Ritters". If it blew up, then there was a weapon of mass destruction in it.
