Okay. I remember an essay very similar to this one in a much later thread. Someone must be plaigarizing or everyone is using the same basic argument.
Shortsighted as they were, at least the Senators back then were "jittery" upon contemplating the probable consequences of this Act. Nowadays most of the idiots in that august body (on both sides of the aisle) actually welcome the invasion.
Yeah, "jittery" was at least a sign they recognized the Immigration Act was a big gamble...because it was clearly stupid.
And today? If it helps destroy the heritage and traditions of the good ol' USA, our Senators vote FOR it -- yes, from BOTH sides of the aisle...
And just today I heard on the radio in West Hollywood it's citizens want to erect a WWII memorial for the troops...Soviet troops. I kid you not.
It's germaine in that it helps explains the genesis of the chaotic immigration problems the country are NOW addressing...
And the reinforcement that the Kennedys single-handedly have always conspired to destroy the U.S. from within.
It's time to bump this thread to the top for all to see the danger lurking ahead. Now that we know Kennedy and McCain are writing a new immigration policy, we need to raise the roof to keep them from succeeding. Kennedy was wrong then, and he's wrong now.
The reason I pinged all of you is that I know you are all interested in stopping this madness! I hope it was OK. :-)

You're very welcome. Please pass it on to everyone you know, including your Congressmen or women, and especially to your Senators. We need to show them how badly the last one that Kennedy had a hand in failed! We need to stop ALL immigration now. At least until we get all the illegals deported.
Will do. Kennedy and McCain are a lethal combination IMO. Freedom of Political Speech hosed by McCain, and now, comprimising the integrity of votes via immigration policy. The American Patriot/Citizen/Taxpayer voice, will be shut down. This can not be allowed to stand. Thanks again.

In fact, the National Lawyers' Guild was a Communist front organization, going back years. Scant wonder they were on the same side of the issue as Early Browder and Gus Hall and the CPUSA.
