The Steelers have lost eight of their past 10 meetings with Tennessee and were physically manhandled -- Bill Cowher's words -- by the Titans during the regular season.
And they are playing just six days after their emotional playoff victory against the Browns with a secondary that has injuries and other problems. No team had a better finish to the regular season than the Titans, who won 10 of their final 11 games after a 1-4 start. But the Steelers have never lost a playoff game to a division team (OK, the Titans qualify are a former division mate). After coming back from 11- and 17-point deficits in their past two games, they are not about to panic against the Titans. OK, the Steelers have yet to win a road playoff game under Cowher (0-2). But they seem to respond when nobody gives them a chance.

A bit ticked at the Sunday scheduling, tho. We've been enjoying the evening games out West ...
Good luck to you!
Gonna have the pics up and posting later?
If there's a thread, I'll be there!
Jets and Raiders should go down to the last possession of the game. I think McNair will get knocked out (an ironic twist to Maddox getting knocked out the last time they played) which leaves the Titans in a real bind. Steelers are also very revved up as the Titans asst. coach poured hot coffee on Joey Porter behind his back last game on the sidelines. ESPN has been showing the film of this weasel coach. Watch out for a Cowher team when he has them fired up.
Those are my picks, I'll be cheering most for the Buc's! I just hope the games are all close and interesting.
Oh, for a weekend of games like last Sunday's, as opposed to last Saturday's!
Titans over Steelers
Falcons over Eagles
Bucs over SF
Jets over Raiders
What I THINK will happen:
Titans over Steelers
Steelers are inconsistent. They can look great, or they can look awful. Titans are on a roll
Eagles over Falcons
Eagles are overall a better team, playing at home. Packers faded badly in last part of season, so Atlanta victory wasn't that big a surprise. Eagles are rested
SF over Bucs
Usual story on Bucs, until they win a big one, I won't pick them for a big one. Also, SF always seems to get the calls they need in tight games. Besides that, they're a pretty good team. Garcia is finally getting some credit as QB. I'll take Frisco in big games until the Bucs get past being chokers.
Raiders over Jets
Raiders at home. What's to say? However, Jets have been on fire lately, so I wouldn't bet much on this one.
As an aside, although I'm no Frisco fan, I found it weird that there was such a big deal about the "no call" on pass interference. There are a zillion plays where there are no calls on what could have been penalties. The Rice fumble against GB a couple of years ago was a far worse call, but you could challenge every game in the history of the league if you included non-calls. There was a clear clip on Franco Harris' immaculate reception, holding could be called on probably half of all pass plays. Oh, well, on to this week's controversy.
The refs arent hoping for games like Sundays. In fact, the NFL changed some procedures at game end so the AARP members with stripes on have to actually watch the plays.
LOL!!! When has McNair EVER been knocked out? That guy's the Terminator. You just can't stop him.
Titans over Steelers - 24 to 13.
