Why don't they just broadcast this to the whole world?

Why don't they just broadcast this to the whole world? Umm, how do you suggest they close off an area without telling anyone? The definition of "closing an area" is to tell people to get out by date certain.

A Japanese TV film crew from Fuji Television just wormed their way into the 'DMZ' between Kuwait and Iraq.
It is a wonder they did not get shot.
They got out last night with pretty 'interesting' footage of the situation there that is now all over the airwaves in Japan. They claim they are the first such international TV crew to have gone up there.
After viewing the video a few minutes ago (which is also on line as I speak on their Japanese website www.fujitv.co.jp) I will leave the conclusions to the viewer and Freepers, as to what is on the verge of happening.

From the American School of Kuwait:
http://www.ask.edu.kw/imp.htm
Date: February 2, 2003
Dear Parents,
I write to you to inform you that the school will temporarily closed from the 10th of February through to the 21st of March. This decision has not been made lightly and is directly related to growing security concerns in Kuwait, the level of uncertainty regarding military action against Iraq, and possible consequences of any such action. Based on these issues we believe it is prudent at this time to temporarily close the school. The timing of this closure is designed to take full advantage of a series of holidays that occur during February and March thus minimizing the effect on our academic program.
To maintain the integrity of the school's academic program, the school's calendar will be adjusted to compensate for any lost days beginning March 22nd. This will include the use of the days set aside for the Spring break, Easter Holiday and Prophet's Ascension Day. In addition we plan to extend the school year one additional week in June, and possibly have school on some Thursdays utilizing a modified schedule.
You will be receiving more specific information regarding school programs from building principals over the next few days.
We appreciate your support and understanding during these difficult times.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr. Andy Page-Smith,
Superintendent

I can't find it on the english version of their website, and the Japanese version isn't going to be of much use to most Freepers.
Could you summarize the video?

fyi- See #6 also.
I have no idea what the film was-couldn't get it. The English version was just CNN Financial in Japanese.
