I say: let's roll! Load the tanks with the chained hippy and ship 'em off to Iraq. The peacenik can act as a 'human shield'-armor in case an Iraqi shell hits the Challenger!

Roll anyway, heck tanks can take out chains without a problem. Sure, the protesters scream real loud at first, and it's a bit messy; but it all washes off.

"It is worth taking such a risk if we are to succeed in heading off war on Iraq. I stand ready to stay here to that end," said one Green Peace activist.
"Mr Dent," he said.
"Hello? Yes?" said Arthur.
"Some factual information for you. Have you any idea how much damage that bulldozer would suffer if I just let it roll straight over you?"
"How much?" said Arthur.
"None at all," said Mr Prosser, and stormed nervously off . . .

Yes, their bodies will make little difference compared with the armor in protecting the tank's occupants.
Still, you've got to give them this; they're doing what they can to help the war effort. Do you think there's any point in feeding them, or would it just be a waste?

I say: let's roll! I'll second that. LET'S ROLL!

their bodies will make little difference compared with the armorIt's the thought that counts. And a protesters body would be great as a bumper too. If you drive your tank up against a wall the paint won't scratch too much. The problem with feeding them is that they are likely veganists. So lets feed them some grass or treebark. And that is a lot cheaper. That will teach them to protest against defence spending too!

Now we need to hand cuff him to 3 other tanks going in different directions and then.....

My Brother left for Kuwait Monday Morning. He is a civilian employee of Brown and Root keeping the massive Generators in A1 working order. He will be on an American Base I told him to heep his head down and do a lot of praying.

He's got my prayer and respect.

Why do I laugh at the mental image of those tank engines turning over and the dirty hippies scrambling for the keys to the chain locks?
Does this make me a bad person?

chained themselves to the tanks in a bid to impede the transit of U.K. weaponry to the Gulf The extra weight won't slow the tanks noticeably, and after a few days most of it will have dissipated.
