So what happened on Joe Millionaire, any big secrets?
Fox TV, I guess ^ | 2/17/03 | A. Millionaire(as far as you know)

So what happened? Any stunning secrets? Dissappointing, shocking, or good?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, its stupid and meaningless, TV will destroy the Roman Empire, etc., save us the speeches. Yes TV has never been the same since Greg Kinnear left Talk Soup(though I thought Monkey Boy had his moments).

I just wanna know what happened.

Oh man, the original Talk Soup was the best! Fond memories of crowding into apartments in our 'enclave' to watch that. I even set up a couple via one of these parties. No, they didn't name their firstborn "Monkeyboy".

Why did it have to end?

Castro, the mafia, and one of Clinton's troopers.

He was by the end of the show.

He wasn't after his date with the IRS. ;-)

Lots of drama. Lots of dramatic music. Lots of commercials to drag it out for 1 1/2 hours.

Evan picked Zora

Told Zora he wasn't a moneybags. She was more unhappy about the deception than him not being moneyed.

Melissa came back to help Sarah(?) pack, and had a mutual b1tch session and smoke break. Sarah acted surprised (and acted very well, too) when Evan told her he wasn't moneyed. "You act like you expected that to matter to me," or something like that.

Big suprise at the end when the butler presented Evan and Zora with a million dollars, which neither of them knew about.

Follow-up show next week of what's been happening with Evan and Zora. Wouldn't be surprised to see an encore showing of this week's episode before then.

Look, pro wrestling IS real. At least as far as those guys are really falling on the mat, really lifting each other up and tossing each other around, and really doing some very dangerous stunts and some very coordinated moves. One slip and people really get hurt, even killed. Sure, the fights are all pre-figured out and they aren't trying to actually kill each other, but those guys are working their butts off and taking real risks and really getting rather worked over in the course of their daily activities. Give those guys the respect they deserve, they are pro athletes as much as any football player or baseball star, and they take as much punishment as the best of them.

That's probably why he kept her as a finalist, cover for some 'satisfaction' while he had to wait on good girl Zora. If there is another week, I hope she dumps him.

So do they only get the dough if they marry, or is the money already in the bank. I forget how it works on the Price Is Right.

I think Evan the Pro-Wrestler-Wanna-be and Sarah the bondage movie actress would've been much more interesting. You can buy a lot of leather with $1M.

I'm glad she had the presense of mind to know how to react with the TV camera on her.

My daughter watched and was so bored by the end. (She has the flu.) When they showed the two dancing, she said, "and stay tuned because in the next hour you will watch them dance."

She reacted that way because that's what the script said to do.
