Our own domestic political correctness poses as big a threat to America as terrorism itself.

Yes, I hope the war on terror leads to the demise of PC as official government and company policy.

When muslims are terrorizing the world, the world is right to views muslims as potential suspects. This countries Black Muslims are on record too. Right now radical islam is on the rise and must be stopped in the streets and in the mosques. time to say so sorry your offended, stop wearing your feelings on your sleave.

"Mere membership of an organization, in my belief, should not alone be the basis for prosecution," said Kit Gage, president of the National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom.

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt! Wrong!

"Mere membership" in the SS was enough to get a number of ex-Nazis prosecuted for war crimes. "Mere membership" in an organization that routinely targets civilians for mass murder is pretty much the same thing, IMHO. Besides, from the reports coming out, Al Arian was a major fundraiser and controller of Islamic Jihad activities in the southern US.

"The arrest has many implications for Arab-Americans and American Muslims that have little do with the charges," said Helen Samhan of the Arab American Institute.

It sure does have those kind of implications. It states pretty clearly that we have thrown away the blinders and are no longer willing to let evil people who express a desire to overthrow western civilization and replace it with a Muslim oligarchy hide behind the facade of their religion anymore.

Anyone espousing such a thing, whether openly in public or in the privacy of the mosque, is a mortal enemy to everything this country stands for. Read up on constitutional law and learn what the phrase "clear and present danger" means before you think that you will use our American freedoms to destroy us.

...may have negative implications for other Arabs and Muslims living in the United States.

Oh no, let's not offend any terrorists (ooops, I meant muslims/arabs). Remember, they are a peaceful religion.

Why would you think otherwise?

I wouldn't.

What makes you think that I would think otherwise?

We often forget that God loves the Muslim as much as He loves any one of us. They can be saved or they will be lost. It's their choice, just as it's our choice. M

The larger message of the indictment is that contributing to "charities" that support terrorism is now an indictable offense. The net of felonious behavior has now expanded considerably.

Tough luck. As they say, an informed consumer is the best consumer. Charities are not established to aid and abet suicide bombers. Charities are deigned to sponsor charitable events you know like meal on wheels and helping orphans and such.

The indictment stands the test of logic and the constitution because this was not a charity but rather a terrorist funding operation!

Don't get snippy. I'm 100 percent in favor of this prosecution, and hopefully many more to come.
