The Washington Post ^ | 3/13/03 | Thomas B. Edsall and Alan Cooperman

Republicans have seized on the assertion of Rep. James P. Moran (D-Va) that Jews are determining American policy toward Iraq as a new weapon in the GOP's long-term effort to attract traditionally Democratic Jewish voters and doners.

House Majority Leader Tome DeLay (R-Tx) told a group of more than 150 Orthodox Jewish leaders from around the country yesterday that the Democratic Party "appears to countenance remarks like those made by Representative Moran in the past few weeks"

Of course, the Dems made the exact same assertions about how Trent Lott's comments were representative of the GOP in order to make political gains - but we never saw boo about that in the ComPost...

And if the Republicans didn't "seize" on Moran's remarks to tell the country what goes on in the Democratic party the Washington Post and the rest of the mainstream media would gladly bury the story as fast as possible.

<< That's domestic, not French Shampain, right? >>

Gee whiz, do the french make all dat cheese, fat geese, nuclear bombs for islamofascists, Micro-Turbo engines for Chinese cruise missiles, the Exocets that both Iraqis and Argentinians have used to attack British and American Naval vessels -- AND shampain?

And here's me thinking only the Aussies made good crisp sparklin' bubbly!

LOL! Sparkling wine is what it's called--and I do drink, but it's not often. I can tell you that I really really hate Vanilla Coke, but the Cherry Coke isn't too bad.

One more reason for the Islamofacist enablers, aka, the DNC, to hate The Hammer even more!

It is time for the Jewish leaders to start speaking out before we see the 1930's/40's repeated in America and the world. They need to make life absolutely miserable for the JINO politicians in the senate and house as well as the life long Jew Haters in power.

I am shocked...shocked indeed that a political party would use embarrassing remarks by opposition party member to recruit within the opposition party's constituency.

With the GOP, this is news.

If it were about the dems, its 'dog bites man'.

This is great.

How many more people can the democrats offend this year. And the year is still young.

In just the last week, the democrats blamed the war on the Jews, compared Palestinian suicide/homicide terrorists to America's founding fathers and even tried to start an impeachment campaign against a popular president over an even more popular war.

At this rate by the end of the year, they might even manage to offend themselves.
