Volume III of my Dragon's Fury Series of novels about World War III has completed editing and proofing and was submitted to the distributor today.
It was submitted as a Print on Demand format for Amazon and Barnes and Noble in a trade paperback format, and as an Adobe Reader eBook format as well.
This volume was somewhat harder for me personally to write due to the large amount of time I spent down in Texas last year helping my brother who had cancer. I was running his business for him while he was hospitalized and so time was at a premium as I kept things going to help cover his medical costs, while scraping to support my own family.
I am very glad to report that my brother is slowly improving. Not out of the woods by any stretch, but on the mend and having, with the good Lord's help, beat the 50-50 odds thus far.
And, also with the good Lord's help...and a lot of understanding and help from family, relatives and friends ... we got Volume III done. I am very glad to have it off to "press" now. ... three 450+ page volumes since Nov 2001 ... whew! Two more to go so we're over the hump.
Thank you to all the fine folks here on FR who have encouraged me, supported me through reading the series and commenting on it, and who have had faith in the project. Thanks especially to Jim Robinson for allowing me to make these periodic updates.
... and thanks to God above and our dedicated service personnel and patriotic citizens for the freedom and liberty with which to write such a series.
I will post an update when the two formats are actually available on Amazon.

Bumping for a new book to read finally.
To: Jeff Head
I've been waiting for this! Do you also have any "Shock and Awe" in this volume?
To: Dubya
Thanks for the BUMP my friend.
The Marines and all of our other service personnel are doing yoeman's work for freedom this night.
God bless them all, every one, and keep them in His hand.
... and God bless those lost on the Chinook, may He rest their souls and comfort their loved ones.
To: Adam-ondi-Ahman
Near the end of the book, you'll read about "Shock and Awe" like it's meant to be ... but I can't say any more.

Thank you both so much! Please let me know what you think when you finish it ... and please consider a review on Amazon if you are so inclined.
A LOT of action and ground covered in this volume ... on all fronts and in many surprising ways.
To: Jeff Head
HOO-yah! It's terrific, Jeff, thanks for sending it. (I hope you got my email I sent prior to going to the hospital.) I'm out now, and will be catching up on the other thread as I can.
Watch for FReepmail...

Thank you ... truthfully it already has.
Having never written, not knowing a thing about the industry ... just getting them published and having so much support has been a neat and exciting experience.
Everyting else is icing.
To: Jeff Head
Congrats, Jeff. I'll go over to Amazon tomorrow and write a nice review.

Thank you for those prayers. Faith in God is the key to all else. I'm back up in Idaho with my own now ... we had a very joyous Christmas after my extended stay down in Tejas. Nine months with about five weeks total at home during that time.
But, that's what families are for ... I was blessed to be in a position to help my brother, as I know he would do for me.

I very much enjoyed I and II. I'm looking forward to reading Volume III. Best regards.
To: Jeff Head
Jeff, I just posted a review for Vol. II on Amazon. If the excerpts you have posted are any indication, Volume III should be even more down home and personal. I'll keep checking back until it's ready to order.
Best of luck.
