Supporting The Troops In Boca Raton Florida, Palm Beach County Florida, 4-5-03

Posted on 04/05/2003 6:51:46 PM PST by Fearless Flyers

We met on the Streets of Boca Raton Florida again today, to rally in support of The United States military and show our appreciation for their bravery in defending our Constitution.

Over 100 people showed up, more than double last week’s participation. Many people parked their cars and joined in the tribute and we stayed around till sunset. We were cheered on by honking Bentleys, Rolls, Jaguars, Chevys, Fords, Harleys, Rice Burners and Rust Buckets.

Today’s event was a wonderful example of the diversity in our Nation, standing as one to pay tribute to the courage of the men and women, that voluntarily put their blood on the line to protect us and defend our Nation.

I love the last picture where the Cub Scout on the left is sitting on the curb reading the Constitution.

We had about thirty of the pocket Constitutions on hand, compliments of The American Flag Hot Air Baloon Crew and every one was gone by the end of the day.

The little guy picked up his copy and started absorbing it right away.

Bitchin'!

I like the guy holding the Culpeper flag -- I'll be flying my Gadsden on the street today.

Fearless,

You are the best ! It was so nice getting all positive responses fron the cars going by. Steve Abrams the mayor ( Boca Raton ) joining in was awesome. I also saw the Repulican Executive Committee president Sid Dinnerstein there. I was very proud to see our leaders of the community come out.

This is the e-mail sent out to about a hundred Repub's. A few photos are enclosed that you may want to add to the Freeper thread.

Thanks again.

Approximately 100 patriots showed up to Rally for America in Boca Raton yesterday.

Sid Dinerstein, REC Chair and Boca Raton Mayor Steve Abrams came to cheer our Troops.

Dennis Macilwain procured a 15' x 30' American Flag and with the help of Tom Hallman from CSE and FearlessFlyer from Free Republic strung it between the Palm Trees in Sanborn Park.

See enclosed photos and also click the link to fearless Flyers photos on the web.

Motorists were pulling over and joining us and the honks and thumbs up were a sight to behold.

It was a grand day and much appreciated by Boca residents. God Bless America!

Jack

How far are we behind? I freep independently all the time. Since 911 I perform an act of civil disobedience once a week. Our town has a law against flying kites on the beach. I wait until the guards go off duty and then go down there and fly my kites. It draws a lot of attention from the tourists

If you're talking about the freepathon, we're a little better than half California's donations. That's pretty good since Fresno is home base and we're over here on the right coast.
