U.S. Marines Guard Secret Iraqi City with Very Hot Nuclear Radiation Levels

U.S. Marines Guard Secret Iraqi City with Very Hot Nuclear Radiation Levels . . . Other than FOX, No American Television News Reports

In a valley 18 miles south of Baghdad the U.S. Marines guard a secret underground city. It lies under the city of Al-Tuwaitha that belongs to Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission. Earlier investigators and U.S. military Secret Operations squads located the top secret underground facility. Reports are beginning to come in that International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors sent to Iraq had never been allowed to inspect the huge secret complex. Now the Marines against enemy counter-attacks.

Reportedly, the complex has over 14 buildings that have very high levels of radiation. The radiation levels are so high that inspectors were shocked and dismayed. The inspectors also located caverns and storage facilities where many drums hold very dangerous "hot" water. The radiation levels are off the charts. It is unsafe for humans to be anywhere near this storage area.. Only three hours of exposure would cause uncontrolled vomiting.

I quote brief excerpt from the Pittsburg Tribune-Review which published this report earlier today:

* * * Last fall, they say, the Central Intelligence Agency prodded international inspectors to probe Al-Tuwaitha for weapons of mass destruction. The inspectors came away with nothing.

"They went through that site multiple times, but did they go underground? I never heard anything about that," said physicist David Albright, a former IAEA Action Team inspector in Iraq from 1992 to 1997. Officials at the IAEA could not be reached for comment.

* * * "The Marines should be particularly careful because of those high readings. Three hours at levels like that and people begin to vomit. That leads me to wonder, if the readings are accurate, whether radioactive material was deliberately left there to expose people to dangerous levels.

"You couldn't do scientific work in levels like that. You would die." * * *

I urge NewsPundit.net readers to read the complete report on the link above. It is a major breaking news report. It is very hot news.

Nuclear "Smoking Gun" Discovered

This morning FOX News was reporting the discovery. Nothing has been presented on the other major networks. When will CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC report this major breaking news story?

Maybe later this week. Maybe next week. Maybe after Iraq has been under total American control for three months. Your guess is as good as mine.

The report as been on the news wires for over four hours now. That is more than enough time for the higher ups to make a decision about whether talking heads ought to deliver the news to audiences across the nation. Why are they sitting on the story?.

Perhaps the report is too "radioactive" for the other major news networks to go near?

Are they waiting to interview Hans Blix? Mr. Blix ?

Round up all of the left wing rats in America from Senators/congressits to the mediots to the follywood scumbags and send them over there to be walking radiation detectors.

Most of the scum bags will probably still deny the reality of the place. What scum bags.

Given the previous premature reports of "chemical weapons" being found, we should be cautious about this. Maybe it's just a repository for old nuclear waste, or maybe it's related to an ongoing nuclear weapons facility. Too soon to tell . . .

They should be invited to the post-Saddam Iraq, that is after we restructure the Iraqi regime to the way it should be. That of course is something that the U.N. could never accomplish.

"...When will CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC report this major breaking news story? "

When it's verified as truth.

I'm a rabid FOX fan, but they've jumped the gun, ending up looking foolish more than once these past three weeks.

Let's cross our fingers that this is the stuff we've been looking for.....

they haven't covered the chemical weapons stories - they've gone out of their way to dismiss them! the site where the drums were hidden below ground containing Saddam's deadly sarin+tubin+mustard "cocktail" was quickly dismissed because they (also) had drums of "harmless" French pesticide above ground (something also discovered along with gas masks and CW suits at the PLO terrorist training camp)

In defense of FOX, they only reported what they were being told by "administration insiders" and the military, so it seems that it is not just FOX who is too eager to report these "finds".

Of course CNN isnt going to report it. They dont have anything good to say about the war.

Breaking ... breaking !!! CNN's Judy Woodruff, who was on suicide watch, has returned to the studio. She is now on low dosage valium and was last seen in hair dressing/make-up where they are fitting her for a wig. It was reported that in her angst yesterday she was observed pulling her hair so violently it was coming out in large patches.

Nuclear is the most worrisome of the WMD in my opinion...I wonder how far they got with the program.

Really? I am alot more worried about biological weapons. Sure a nuke going off in DC or New York would be horrible, but you can't destory all of the USA with an experimental nuke program from a terrorist state. However, things like Marburg, Ebola, Smallpox. These things really scare me. They have the potential to spread exponentially. In some areas of the Congo and Zaire, Ebola has over a 75% death rate and possibily as high as 90%. If this disease was airborn and had a several day lag time between effects and transmission, watch out.

Make sure BEFORE we report it around the world. Otherwise it looks like we are spreading propaganda. In an effort to break stories..we've had a ton of recent ones that didn't pan out.

I heartily agree, nothing against the source, but did you ever stop to think why this particular paper is the one breaking the story. I love Pittsburgh - but the last I heard the "Trib" was not a leading international publication. I also think that FOX has been the network with the most reported rumors that have proven to be false. Better to be right than first.

Ah it's times like thes that I wish I had cable. Seeing some liberal looney implode would be worth $60.00 +. That's just for basic, mind you...

The studio did send a gopher to the grocery store for more kleenex, didn't they????

Look. We will find WMD's eventually. But so far, this is like all the other prelim reports- wildly overblown. So far there are only reports of DIRTY WATER. It is radioactive for crying out loud. It has to be stored somewhere. Maybe there were plans to weaponize it. I don't know. But nowhere does it say we found nukes or other weapons. We will.

"Really? I am alot more worried about biological weapons. Sure a nuke going off in DC or New York would be horrible, but you can't destory all of the USA with an experimental nuke program from a terrorist state."

Consider if this is a hiding place for nukes already obtained on the international blackmarket. Consider some possibilities of what a detonation of a former Soviet warhead in areas with troop concentrations might do at this time:

1. Destroy the core of American assault forces in Iraq.
2. In effect, destroy for some period of time American assault capapbilities world wide.
3. Kill millions of Iraqis.
4. From a propaganda angle, snatch victory from defeat for Islamic audiences.
5. Strike a crippling blow at the Great Satan America.
6. Potentially unify the entire Islamic fundamentalist region.
7. Re-energize the radical Left, the UN advocates, European weenies and all of the related globalists.
8. Demoralize our troops, citizens and allies.
9. Strengthen the media positions that are critical of Bush doctrine and unilateral actions.
10. From defeat, inflict a historic symbol of unparalleled meaning on America and create a mythos as large or larger than Saladin in Islamic minds.
11. On the basis of Saddam's 'heroism' the reality of several generations of Islamic jihadists would be instantaneously created.
12. Instead of dealing with remaining states from of position of authority and respect, Americans would lose all ground and need to deal with hostile throughout the region.
13. Stateside, the new Left in America would potentially gain the upper hand in public consciousness.
14. The Left would unify and present a probable shift in elections for 2004.
15. Conservative doctrines would be tainted and the inertia we now enjoy would dissapate.
16. If the Left regains power, all will be in peril for America and freedoms since the Left is now in an end-game mode for the socialism.

Well, that's just a few thoughts. Troops train for bio/chem warfare but there's nothing you can do about a nuke going off under your feet.

Maybe this is why the UN, the French and the Ruskies were so much against it.

No telling what one may find in a place like this ... no telling whose fingerprints.

Good saying "Better to be right, than first". I like it.

I'm listening to the Pentagon briefing, and they say they have only heard what we have heard from embedded reporters regarding it. So, I really think we need to slow down some here.

Starts to be like the little boy who cried wolf, so to speak.

Once we know something "with certainty" then fine, report it. I'm looking forward to the day we announce the WMD too. It will happen.. but lets get the "news" out when it is the "truth" and when it is "correct". If something is "suspected" they need to be careful to say just that. State there is no proof yet.. that we need to await a verification process. To announce something as fact before it is, is irresponsible in MHO.

FRegards, Vets
