Would you rather have a nuke go off in NYC or have a ebola pandemic kill 200 million Americans? I was trying to say that the potential terrorist uses of biological weapons have the potential to kill alot more people than several pounds of illegal U or Pu.

Following the succession of posts, your remarks were offered to smith288 in post #6 who was concerned with the situation in Iraq. The situation there is what my remarks are confined to. The general topic of bioterror is something else again.
I fully agree that biowarfare is dangerous as hell (according to the Russians, SARS may be man-made and it's here in the US now). Even so, there are barriers, time elements, geographic boundaries and prophylactic measures. With strategic nukes, anyone in the kill radius gets flash fried or blenderized by projectile velocity debris. No chance for protective measures, warnings or decontamination.
In any event, dealing with the terror threat is a one nation and leader at a time proposition. I guess I could worry about an asteroid hit too, but that is beside the point.

This one report is being quoted everywhere, yet nowhere (over 24 hours later) have I seen a second, independent report. I hope we aren't being taken for a ride here.

Marburg, Ebola and smallpox could theoretically be spread by air of they were "weaponized". Otherwise, contagion works via transfer of blood serum or lymph, like AIDS. Thus, while these diseases have a high mortality rate, they are not extremely contagious.
Some kind of superflu or a supercold (SARS?) on the other hand could be a huge problem. Can you imagine the common cold killing 90%?

Michael Moore is an insult to the human race. He is a sick DNA joke. Like most libs, they have depended on their butt buddies in the media to protect them by not showing how mentally ill they are. Those days are over.
This pig should move to Moscow or Paris where he will be welcomed.

I was trying to look up on a map last night the distance from Ramadi to Al-Tuwaitha.
I had a lot of trouble because the spellings of these words change and I didn't always know if I was reading the same towns.
How far are these two places from each other?
