An Iraqi doctor reported to the Americans that he peformed cosmetic surgery on Saddam Hussein and some members of his family in order to change their appearances, the Arab electronic newspaper "Alefiyya" reported on Saturday.

(The paper) asserts that on Saturday morning a certain Iraqi who spoke very good English approached a group of US Marines in one of the Baghdad suburbs and, after stating that he had important information about Saddam Hussein, requested that they deliver him to intelligence (operatives).

According to the doctor, he does not know where Hussein is located, or where are members of his family and other chief representatives of the fallen regime.

"Alefiyya" writes that now (the Americans) are checking the authenticity of the information from the doctor, whose identity was not revealed.
