For anyone who is interested, there is a two-hour special on Bob Hope tonight on NBC. It starts shortly here on the east coast at 7 p.m.

I love, respect and admire Bob Hope. He is everything that NBC is not. I stopped watching anything on the major networks years ago, and I won't watch NBC tonight either.

Wish all the best for Bob Hope though.

1. Hope hated Clinton and what he did to the office, and

2. everyone would have turned it off.

Well, I waited a LONG time to not have the creep on my television, and I guess I wanted my enjoyment to continue.

Sorry if I somehow offended you (not quite sure how), but it is CERTAINLY no reflection on my feelings for Bob Hope, who I consider among the greatest of the great Americans.
