(Please excuse me for writing this so quickly and so simply, but just want to get it out there before it gets too late and I begin to doze off...)
Today a few of us conservative activists went to Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett to hear Karl Rove speak. He finally took the stage at about 5.20pm.

He said a few words about how President Bush is doing (fantastic) and how his (GWB) "marriage has never been better." He said a few words and then then took questions, and joked that he would "answer and duck as many questions as possible."
There were a couple of *obvious* Lefties in the middle of the audience and when Rove took the stage they all held up pictures of dead babies -- presumably these were babies thought to have been killed by Amercans.
But Rove was so cool. As they held up the pictures, he said politely, I can see your pictures and I'll be glad to address any questons that you might have, but would you please hold those pictures lower so that those behind you can see? (heh heh heh) It was then that my friend (a male) shouted loudly, "They must be Kurdish children that were killed by Saddam!" Rove looked slightly concerned but quickly blew it off and returned to his speech.
At the end of the speech, we all stood and began to applaud, when all of a sudden we heard angry shouts of .[..indecipherable...] One of the things I definitely heard, though, was "you Nazis!" It was weird, especially since the Nazi's are *their* comrades.
Anyway, Rove left the room, but was still standing encircled by a friendly crowd when we emerged, so I made my way behind and around the crowd so that I was right behind him, and then tapped him at an appropriate moment. He turned and shook my hand and held on o it while I expressed my concern about the 2000 voter fraud exercised by the Demokrat party, and how I am concerned about similar behavior in 2004. He responded very reassuringly (and enthusiastically) that "We have a new law now."
Well, everyone was pulling him to and fro, but before he could get dragged away I asked him if I could take a photo with him (to add to my Bushie collection) and he said yes. At that time an unknown gentleman (no idea who) took my camera and aimed it and pressed the button to take our photo, but nothing happened! For some reason the camera wasn't working, but all was happening so quickly and Rove was being jostled to and fro so erratically that I had to hurry with an idea. Thankfully, a friend of mine was nearby and I pulled her over nearer to us and she took a photo of us with her camera.
Can't wait to see it :+)

"What Law?"Not sure! I wanted to inquire further, but he kept getting pulled further and further away. He was very confident in declaring it, though, so it is something we will have to find out.

There are new Ballot requirements here now. Basically, everything is touch screen. You'd have to be a complete moron or democrat to screw this thing up...especially the counties with questionable results in 2000. There have been lots of changes in early voting and in absentee voting. From what I've seen it has been in the Republicans favor.

The commiecrats think Rove is the devil and I for one is not going to tell them that he is not.He has more smarts in his pinkey that the total Demokrat party.

"Thats great for Florida but what about the other states like SD, NM, WI, etc."Actually, I have a concern about all the states.

Awesome!
What bothers me is the frenzy which seems to be the mindset of the left ... these people are downright scarry at times.

Interesting.
I went to listen to him earlier today at St. Anselm College's Institute for Politics event. He is certainly bright, well spoken and has answers for everything.
He did, however, have the same 'joke' about answering and ducking questions.
At St A's today, an open to the public thing it was SRO. He gave a few minutes remarks about how he got strated in politics in school and that whole thing, then also opened to questions. There were some obviously liberal questions but I must say everyone was polite and respectful...lots of good kids at the better than average college.

I should add...how great is it to be in NH anyway.
We get to see and hear close up a bunch of candidates and people like Rove. I personally enjoyed seeing, in 2000, Bill Bradley introduced by Bob Reich. Talk about the long and short of it!
Great state to live in if you are interested in politics.

Wow, thanks for the report. Karl Rove spoke at the University of Utah a couple of months ago, he is an excellent speaker.
