Scott's Mistress Stole Another Mom-to-be's Hubby

1. Enquirer has learned that Amber Frey was involved with another married man whose wife was also expecting a child. Amber is a massage therapist.

2. 27 year old Michelle Hart of Fresno watched TV and recognized Amber as the woman who had an affair with her husband. She claims that Amber is no innocent. Michelle said Amber ran off with her husband when she was seven months pregnant. Amber knew the whole time that the husband was married and that Michelle was pregnant.

3. Police now want to re-interview Amber in view of recent developments. Jilted wife said "I see Amber on TV and she is acting all innocent".." I screamed at the TV this is BS." The affair took place four years ago. Michelle became suspicous after Amber left a message on their answering machine. Michelle then confronted her husband he denied it at first, then admitted everything, saying they had met at the gym.

4. Michelle's husband was under Amber's spell and before she had the baby left to move in with Amber. Amber thrrew a baby shower and invitied all her friends and co-workers. She told friends she was having the shower for Michelle's husband's baby. "Our child never saw any of the gifts". "She was keeping them for when she had a child of her own.

5. After Michelle had her child she decided to confront Amber in an final attempt to rescue her marriage. Michelle called her when she knew Amber was not with her husband. She pleaded with Amber to let her husband go. Michelle said some pretty nasty things about Amber and her husband.

6. Little did Michelle know when she said the nasty stuff that Amber was setting her up and was recording Michelle. She then played back the tape for Michelle's husband. The affair ended three months later.

7. Michelle found a baby book her husband was keeping and he had recorded that Amber actually came to the hospital and saw the baby boy when he was just an hour old. When Michelle read that she " just wanted to kill her." A few moths later Amber and the husband broke up.

Before the battle of Agincourt in 1415, the French, anticipating victory
over the English, proposed to cut off the middle finger of all captured
English soldiers. Without the middle finger it would be impossible to
draw the renouned English longbow and they would therefore be incapable of
fighting in the future. The longbow was made of the native English Yew
tree, and the act of drawing the longbow was known as "plucking the yew" -
or "pluck yew."
To the bewilderment of the French, the English won a major upset over the
French and began mocking them by waving their middle fingers at the
defeated French, saying, "See, we can still pluck yew!" "PLUCK YEW!"
Since "pluck yew" is rather difficult to say, the difficult consonant
cluster "pl" at the beginning has gradually changed to a labiodental
fricative "F", and thus the words often used in conjunction with the
on-finger-salute are mistakenly thought to have something to do with an
intimate encounter. Pheasant feathers were used on the arrows used in the
longbow to steady the arrows flight. Thus the symbolic mocking gesture is
known as "giving the bird."

Thanks for the reference to that case in North Carolina. I looked it up and apparently, this Mike Peterson was the last one to see another woman who died from a fall down the stairs. What I can't figure out is the connection between Peterson and this other dead woman named Ratliff. Fascinating. Looks like it is also going to trial asap.

"PLUCK YOU" s/b "PLUCK YEW" Please excuse....I regret the error! Etimologically speaking The "e" does end up being an "o" and the "Pl" does end up being a "f" as the article explains. But "PLUCK YEW" does preceede "PLUCK YOU" in denotation and I wanted to correct that error.

Sorry for the off topic, but I did find the subject very interesting considering the phrase's widely "misunderstood" connotation.
